“Unbelievable place. Found it while working construction downtown. Ive eaten lunch there for over a month straight now and there is not one thing that disappointed me. Soups are some of the best I've ever had, sandwiches to die for, they have there own menu but can get what you want made, cant beat the specials!!! They also do breakfast but I havent tried that yet, but my friends have had omelets for lunch and said they were fire!!! Also the in-house made pastries and sweet are great too. Also everything is well priced!! And the staff is amazing!!“

“Walked in and was immediately greeted by the most amazing cashier. He touted everything on the menu. We ended up going with the Friday meatball sandwich special, the Italian sandwich and two vanilla tonka lattes. Both sandwiches and lattes were heavenly! We can’t wait to go back to try the rest of them on the menu.“

“1215 is one of the best coffee shops I’ve had the pleasure of frequenting, and I make it a habit to go here at least once a week. It’s in the heart of OTR and is super convenient for anyone in that area. I’m on a first name basis with the baristas and ordering food/coffee from them feels less transactional and more human. They sell Deeper Roots coffee which is top notch, and I could drink their house blend for the rest of my life. They have a really solid selection of teas too. The place is not at all pretentious, and has a regular clientele that is relaxed and friendly - and the place is bustling but not too busy. The music they play is at the right volume and is well-curated - Americana, folk, 2000s indie, soft rock, blues. Around 5-6pm the coffee shop vibe slowly turns into a romantic and cozy wine bar with live music on some nights. The flowers on the tables are replaced by candles and the lights are dimmed. While I’m usually busier in the evenings, this tempts me to stay all day. Fantastic place that I cannot recommend enough!“

“Sue and Bullet are great, they are super friendly and if you stop in regularly will remember your name and even your order. The prices are relatively cheap and you get a solid amount of food. They make the best BLT around and I always make sure to check out the special on Tuesday/Thursday. If you're looking for a quick workday lunch you should definitely stop in!“

“Great vibes. In town for a baseball tournament and wanted to grab some good coffee. This place has excellent coffee, atmosphere was laid back, and the pricing was really affordable. Way better than Starbucks! We had the Graham Canyon and the Honeybee (I think). Highly recommend both. Cookies and coffee cake were a hit too.“

“Benson Paige is a pup who has lived in a shelter for a whole year. Today is his last day on earth since he is being humanely euthanized tomorrow. A foster took him out and spent some time at Bloc, so benson got to finally cuddle up on a couch. He finally got to eat a whole plate of eggs, a plate of bacon and experience the good life- something he never got to experience before. Stevie the lead barista was incredibly kind and compassionate over the phone with me while I tried to coordinate getting benson a special treat and helped me make sure the foster & benson were taken care of and that he got to experience love. There are no words to describe my gratitude to them and thank them for providing a place for benson to be safe and loved. ❤️❤️❤️ can not recommend them enough for their customer service“

“SUCH a cute gem in madisonville! Great coffee and bakery. They have an outdoor courtyard and patio, and they allow pets! I’ve brought my cat on a harness and leash multiple times and they are so welcoming.“

Even though we kept it simple with the tomato basil soup, chili, dessert, and a coffee for me, everything was absolutely delicious. You can truly taste the care they put into their food. “What a CUTE coffee shop 😍😍 The inside is absolutely darling and has plenty of space to sit and enjoy your coffee and breakfast. We opted to sit outside on the patio and enjoy the beautiful weather. Super dog friendly which is always great to see. And lots of breakfast options. We got the quinoa bowl for a gluten free option and it was so good. The sausage in it was very light and everything else was very filling. They also had some fun gluten free muffins and a s'mores bar that was super tasty!! Definitely recommend if you live in the area or are just visiting 👌“

“Pretty much the epitome of a hole in the wall bar. The staff or bartender aren't the most social creates but that's not why you go there. The beer and drinks a dirt cheap and good. I'm pretty sure that regulars there have been patronizing that bar for years. Great little bar if your into that style and atmosphere.“

I absolutely love the selection and truly is as close to my moms cooking than anything else near campus. Always fun to see kids running around and connecting with other people within the community. 10/10 recommend! They also have a piano which is sometimes being played by a neighbor which makes me feel at home as well!“
