“Our party of 4 arrived at 1:00 for the Sunday brunch. It wasn't crowded at all. Though we've been there many times over the past decades, our daughter in law had never been there, so it was a special treat for her. The guys really enjoyed the prime rib. I especially liked the crepes. Oh, so good. There were breakfast and lunch foods available, so you could choose either...or both! We had a lovely time there and definitely plan to go back sometime.“

“I was just bragging about my Wednesday evenings at Jeff Ruby's while working in downtown Cincinnati for 2 years. We were so spoiled! We were eating the ultimate steaks and I do mean the best we've ever had steaks, sushi, cocktails and truly wicked awesome service, and last but not least, the Ambience was superb. You can actually hang around where Frank Sinatra hung with so many stars through the years and it's truly an experience! ❤️. We had the pleasure of meeting Jeff on numerous occasions, and he had a passion for the best. When my honey introduced me to Jeff Ruby's, he told me "I'll never have a better steak ever!". It's true! To this day I have not had a better steak and experience! Unfortunately, I've lost my honey but he taught me so much and showed me more than anyone ever could. I highly recommend this Jeff Ruby's Experience to anyone that can afford it!! It's definitely worth it for a special occasion, Anniversary, Big birthday. Truly Epic!!!!“

“I brought my wife to the Precinct for her birthday. I consider it privilege that we had two servers. I believe Shannon was on our seating ticket but it was two young females and one l believe was in training. Please be sure they read this. I find myself unfortunately hard to please although I may rarely make it evident. I am a natural devils advocate, think you definitely get what you pay for, and expect much when an experience is glorified. I must say that my expectations were blown away and that I didn't realize that I had set the standard too low. You have done an injustice to all experiences after you because I doubt they can stand against the new found enlightenment of what excellence looks like.When these two ladies walked over to our table it was as if the rest of the room had to stop to appreciate the energy and perfection of service that seems to fall from ancient wisdom gathered through centuries or just an embodied gift bestowed to these two ladies. The Precinct must have some credit for selection and training in the hiring process but these ladies deserve to be recognized for their own skill navigating a seamless and natural experience that tops the list of fine dining. They put focus on my wife for her special day and made her feel important as it was all about her. This is much appreciated and exactly what we needed from the night. I could not change a thing to improve and would only hope another visit would be the same and with the same ladies handling our service. I fear the expectation was set and no one else will compare. We also received great recommendations even on the cooking of our steaks. It was the best beef I had ever tasted and I am no novice to good food. Thank you for the most amazing dining experience of our lives to date and thank you ladies both for being you. You are both truly amazing and may find it extremely difficult to ever fail in all your lives endeavors. Thank you so much!“

“This was our first time here. Our kids brought us - their treat! It was one of the best nights out we have had in years! The food was scrumptious, the service was top notch and the company was second to none! I highly recommend! This visit was one for the memory books!“

“We haven't had such a fantastic experience in a restaurant in so long, I forgot what it feels like. We were promptly seated by the hostess, and she was friendly. Our waitress was great and was very polite and attentive. I'll never get tired of having a refill for my drink set down in front of me before I have to ask. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, and we enjoyed the decor. I was glad we were almost finished when they sat a couple at the table next to ours, because it is a little close and you're right in each other's conversation. I got the salmon bruschetta to start, and it was so good. Everything tasted so fresh, and the flavors blend beautifully. My girlfriend got the French onion soup, and that looked amazing. She said it tasted really good. We both ordered the filet mignon, and she wanted hers medium rare, and I wanted mine cooked medium. While both steaks were excellent, neither one was cooked as requested, and both were pretty rare. I'm going to let that slide, since everything else was so good. The smoked Gouda Mac and cheese is so damn good, I want the recipe. It's very creamy and delicious. The Brussels sprouts with bacon were excellent and I could eat a bowl of just that. We will definitely be back, and totally understand all the accolades now. Two thumbs up.“

“The food was good. Service was good. My only problem is that a mistake was made were I was charged with my friends food for $134 when my bill was $28.03. The waitress and manager fixed the mistake but there was never a simple "sorry" or "we apologize".Still a good place to eat.“

“Let me being by saying that this was the second time in my life that my wife and I have had a meal so good that we bought drinks for the entire restaurant staff.We went last night and this meal was the best we've ever had in Cincinnati. We began with the oysters and the bone marrow. If you've never had bone marrow like we hadn't, get it. I'm telling you that it's sublime. That was followed with the seasonal spring salad. I know this is a steakhouse and they do their steak as well as anyone, but I've never had a salad that good. It was the single best bite of the meal!After the salads, they brought out our 4oz petit filets, fingerling potatoes, and sauteed mushrooms and onions. We prefer to have small steaks and let it be an element of the meal rather than the meal itself and I'm so glad we did! The entire meal was delicious and I'd hate to have ordered a larger steak and missed out on the opportunity to try some of their other menu items.Finally, we wrapped up the meal with a creme brulee for each of us (they had two types so we got one of each and shared). Creme brulee is my favorite dessert and The Lonely Pine didn't disappoint!I can't wait to go back. I've been talking to folks at work about it all morning and several of them are excited to try the place as well.GO. Enjoy your night out. You won't be disappointed in taking my recommendation.Parking: We had no trouble finding street parking within 30 feet of the restaurant. They also have a free parking lot directly across the street.“

“Pleasant atmosphere, comfortable seating, friendly staff, good food. Could improve the menu to accommodate a more health-conscious diet of the customers' need and/or choice. They never attempted to include the new plant-based meat alternatives that would be welcome on the menu. The invasion of the valet parking on a vast number of parking spots makes the experience completely unpleasant.Parking: Very difficult to find parking. The service provided by the valet is inconvenient. Sometimes you have to wait a long time until they bring your car.“

“The portions were huge. Melinda is an amazing server. She anticipated our needs--we didn't even have to ask. The food was fabulous. It was the most pleasant experience we've ever had. Texas Roadhouse has always been a great experience but this one topped them all.“

“Vegetarian options: Not very good for vegetarians. My wife got the Country Veg plate and it came with a hunk of steak bleeding into the baked potato. The server then told us the baked potatoes are also not vegetarian and rubbed in bacon grease. She had to get Mac and cheese instead.“

“I've never had a bad meal at this place. The food is always good and the service is exceptional. Considering this is a chain restaurant, it blows my mond how good their steaks can be. I've had a better steak here than what I've had at Walt's or Ruby's, I kid you not. Every time I eat here, it is consistently good, the food is fresh and well prepared.“

“Kendall, our server was wonderful! Answered all of our questions and spot on for delivery of our food. My problem was our seating. Our reservation was for 5 pm, we arrived 15 minutes early and were promptly seated just outside an empty private room that they seated 6 people who became very loud! And then seated another group of 4 on our opposite side. I'm checking out this mostly empty restaurant scratching my head and wondering why.“

“The salad was less impressive than normal. The steak and loaded baked potatoe were FAB.From 3p to 5p they now have early dinner specials. I have never noticed before, maybe a new thing? There are almost 10 options to choose from for $12.99.Pictured is my larger 8oz steak, potatoe and salad.Kid-friendliness: Kid menu, high chairs etc are available.“

“So this was our first time out in forever. It was my pregnant wife, mother in law, daughter and I and we chose to dine at the yard house.Atmosphere is out of this world. Just very comfortable great place to enjoy a meal with family or friends.Service was a little rough. Server was a vegetarian so didn't really have good recommendations, and seemed new but attentive.My families food was fantastic. My burger was overcooked. Asked to be remade and put to go and it was overcooked again.HOWEVER....Rob, The Executive Chef, came personally to our table to figure it out. Got a burger out fast, made sure it was right, and comped it.Also brought us 2 gift cards for a future visit.I have to say he saved the day. My family was more upset than I was, and we look forward to returning after Rob handled this issue.Thank you so much for your above and beyond handling of this very basic issue. “We were greeted and seated immediately upon arrival. Our waitress came by a few minutes later and took our drink order. Once drinks arrived, she took our order. I ordered the Fire grilled T-bone medium well with asparagus and fire grilled corn on the cob. The corn was covered in parmesan cheese and crema. The combine taste was good. The asparagus was firm and tender not undercooked or soggy. Now, the T-bone was cooked spot on. Medium well as I ordered. The seasoning is light not very heavy. There was a good amount of fat. Not too much but enough. Drinks were refilled before running out and a special ice cream dish was brought out after dinner because it was my birthday. Thank you for this special treat. Made my night. Would come back again for the awesome service and food.“

“Its always been a great dining experience for us. Our side wedge salads were very tasty. My filet was delicious and cooked to perfection. My wife had the Scallop Risotto. It was very good as well although she found it a bit too salty. The Brussel sprouts were delicious and plenty. Topping it off was the banana cream pie. A very nice evening with plenty of time left to get to our show!“

“We were given a table in the main area, the lighting was definitely on the brighter side and didn't come off as romantic. My husband and I both ordered the filet, medium rare. The food, overall, was fantastic. His filet came out medium well and dry. We pointed it out to the waiter who handled it and ordered another steak for him to be cooked properly. The manager even came over to apologize. It wasn't a huge deal, we were very understanding but it did take another 20 minutes. When we got the bill, they had actually added the 3rd steak to the tab. It was corrected when we brought it to their attention but how do you accidentally add a 3rd steak to the tab??? I'm glad my husband checked but I was fully expecting a comp of some sort on the bill for all the inconvenience. I wonder if this has happened to anyone else and they didn't catch it.“

“We just had a meal at this restaurant. We’ve been here a few times and it’s usually really good every time we go. That tells you there’s great management. I had the salmon today and my husband had a ribeye and let me tell you what every single thing we ordered was perfect. It was cooked perfect. It tasted perfect. It was an amazing meal. Good job guys.“

“We had dinner here today with a party of four. I had the ribs, mash potatoes and a caesar's salad. My wife had the wings and a salad. The others had steaks (No complaints and they ate all their food). My meal and my wife's were pretty good, better than I expected. Our server Hailey was very good and she managed several large tables at the same time. The restaurant was clean and everyone was friendly. We hope to return.“

“This place has went down, the bread is so hard and both the managers are so nonchalant and very unfriendly, niether of the 2 greeted not one customer that I seen or even cracked a smile, so unpleasant as Managers ! Carl walked around like security at this point just throw him on a security uniform, and for Kathy she’s a Karen !!!! They should have kept her in the kitchen as a kitchen manager so is not ppl friendly at all !!!!“

“I had the filet, and it was sincerely the best steak I've ever had. I can't tell you the last time I not only finished my plate, but kept saying “ok just one more bite” and henceforth made myself miserable because it was so good. The service was great, the drinks were great, we were very impressed.“
