“The deceptively named Pretty Decent is much more than. One would be forgiven for not knowing what to expect out of a “botany shop and cocktail bar,” but that is indeed what they do and what they do extremely well. Pretty Decent sells house plants and whips up drinks. The former are healthy, vibrant, and well displayed, and the latter are tastefully crafted and reasonably priced. For a place that does ostensibly only two things, they do those two things remarkably well. My partner got a Villa Alta, and I got a Carajillo, which may be one of the best cocktails ever found in Louisville. Incredibly easy 5 stars.“

“We stopped by after an early bird Valentines Day. The staff was so welcoming and lovely. The decor is great and matches us perfectly; he loves bourbon, I likes wine. The game corner with cozy couches was a great place to unwind. The 6 flights were a great option to sample the extensive wine list at a super reasonable price. We are so sorry to have slept on this gem for so long. They hold several events, tastings and socials. Looking forward to adding to our regular rotation and checking out the calendar!“

Deon and Marcus always have really good wine recommendations and they have a decent Bourbon collection. Tyler the GM is on point with the food recommendations and pairings.
