“Three of us had dinner on Tuesday night. The restaurant had a very nice atmosphere. Our server was Yasmine. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. She was attentive but not obtrusive. Everyone enjoyed the food very much. We had a lovely leisurely dinner. I would definitely return.“

“It was our first time here. We had two adults and two kids. We were seated immediately, had water service immediately and were greeted by a member of our service team within minutes of sitting down. Service was impeccable. They were present and attentive without being overbearing. They were very accommodating towards our children. Apps were a fried paneer, and chicken samosa. Both hot and delicious. The sauces were incredible. The breads and various entrees were phenomenal. Well seasoned, heat tailored perfectly to our preference. All in all a 10/10 experience. We left with a smile on our faces, from ear to ear. “The restaurant from the outside is simple, but when you enter and order fish, it is really wonderful. I am from the Arabian Gulf. My country is Bahrain in the middle of the sea. We have a lot of fish. I know good fish and a good cook and taste. But here the restaurant is really wonderful. I have not tried any fish restaurant in Louisville because the fish that is not good makes me Sick and this is my second visit in a week. I will be a customer and it is close to our home. I liked this restaurant and all the staff are friendly“

“We had the best service with Kate! She gave us tips on what to order and ahead of time was dead on. We started with a cocktail and had a glass of wine with dinner. We split the spicy chicken empanadas, delicious, however, we did not detect the spice. We split the green chili Caesar. Honestly, the best Caesar in town. I do t see how they get it so cold and crisp, it's amazing! We then each had a ceviche. The baby shrimp, which were much bigger than anticipated, such wonderful flavor! My daughter had the crab, the server suggested mixing it right away to get the sauce mixed in. Very good! It did need more liquid. We simply poured the extra shrimp sauce in the crab, it was superb after that. The tomato on the shrimp just gives it more moisture and such a good flavor! We can't wait to go back!“

We have extensive experience in Restaurant Operations and found her to be very knowledgeable and went out of her way to make our experience unforgettable. “Let's start at the beginning. Gorgeous restaurant. Tables aren't set up with intimacy in mind though. My husband's drink was perfect. My maple bourbon drink tasted like bourbon only. No other flavors noted. We were offered free champagne for our celebration which was a nice touch. Calamari was pretty standard though I loved the lemon aoli with it. My special of the day Sea Bass was incredible. My husband's salmon was good, perfectly cooked. This will be unpopular opinion but I thought the lobster bisque was gross. It tasted like melted cheese with a few lobster pieces thrown in. Not bisque at all. I do tend to be a bit critical since I lived in Boston once. But I couldn't eat it. Overall though fantastic restaurant. Especially seafood in a location far from any sea. Well done.“

“Grace our sweet server was so helpful! I'm gluten free and inquired about a dish called chicken gorgonzola and though not on the menu they still were able to make it for me with rice noodles! “We ate at the bar during lunch, the bartender was super friendly and professional, the head chef came out to get some of these special cherries they marinate and talked to us for 15 to 20 minutes, he was extremely informative and gave us quite a bit of information, I had the bone in New York strip with truffle fries and my buddy had either a 6 or 8 ounce filet with Sam's mashed potatoes, both were outstanding, I had iced tea and my friend had 4 of their special Old Fashioned at $22.00 apiece, I drove, I'm taking my son there for lunch during Kentucky Derby week for a celebration of his 4.0 GPA in his 2nd year of a very well respected private university that ranks in the top 3 in our state, will definitely sit in the bar again and I think we will both get the filet looking forward to it.“

I would order all of them again! It's a bit loud, but you can still have a conversation. The bar area for waiting is ridiculously dark.“

The three adults were very happy with our food too. Everything was absolutely delicious, and cooked perfectly! From the appetizers to the burgers to dessert, everything was absolutely delicious. Our server Kyle was very friendly and efficient. He gave us plenty of time to decide what we wanted and made sure we had everything we needed. He kept our drinks filled as well! One of the managers, Jay, stopped by our table to see how everything was going, and we appreciated that! I can only feel whatever spiciness is there as a lingering but pleasant warm tingle around the mouth and lips in between bites of food. Not what I was expecting, but still flavorful and delicious. Would like to try the real deal sometime.“

“We had a group of 9, so I called and reserved a table. I’m glad we did, because the restaurant was fairly busy even on a Thursday. Our server was amazing and so attentive. She made sure we always had full drinks, our order was perfectly accurate, and she was so nice as well. According to the receipt, her name is Carolina. The food was amazing (as always!). Why u ask well that's when Suburban Fish Fry returns from hibernation to cook up their golden cod. And it is the beast fish fry in Louisville bar none. My wife used to come here and get fish with her grandma and now years later we are carrying on the tradition. My friend said his ribeye was hot and prepared to perfection, tender and flavorful. Bread was warm and he enjoyed with butter melted in. The table pickles were a nice touch. Wasn't cheap but have you priced aged prime beef lately? If you don't have a lot of money pass on this place. Was little noisy but it was Saturday night and filled up fast. “I wish we had taken a picture of our amazing food. The Eggplant Parmesan was absoluteiy stellar!! Should be featured in a magazine. The flavors burst in your mouth. The homemade marinara had the absolute best blend of herbs and spices. Each one not overpowering the other while still complimenting the roasted eggplant. My husband had the bistro burger. The fried egg on top was perfectly done. Not under or overfried. The handcut fries with parmesan were so crispy. “We stopped by to get lunch. They were very busy when we got there. That is normal for them. We placed our order and took a seat at 1 of their open tables. Our drinks came quickly & our fish/meals came shortly afterward. It was piping hot & to order. We got the 1st order Iceland Cod Platter, coleslaw, and fries and drink. The 2nd order was their huge Catfish Sandwich, a Bowl of Clam Chowder & a drink. All the employees were very polite and courteous. Even as busy as they were, the place was constantly being cleaned (the tables & area around that table). This isn't our 1st time there. We have been customers of theirs for several years. During the summer months, they do have several picnic tables outside that you can eat at. Most are under a canvas cover to protect you from any rain.Parking: They have parking on two sides of their building. It is limited & it's free.Wheelchair accessibility: They do have wheelchair accessibility but it's tight to move around in the dining area. The people employees and customers do try their best to help someone like myself in a wheelchair.“

“I see some negative reviews about this place. I literally eat and drink there 3-4 times a week when I'm in Louisville. I'm a salsa connoisseur and the salsa is very good, but they also keep a red and green sauce in bottles (you have to ask for it). I like the green one best. The food is good and the bathrooms are clean. I find that they are usually very well staffed and I have never had an issue, ever.“
