“Out of towners trying this breakfast/brunch restaurant out for the first time! outside atmosphere was adorable and gives a feel of "home". Patio seating and seats outside under a tent, where the outside bar is! The wait time was about 45 mins for a table, but that was perfectly okay because of the outside bar and porch to wait! cornhole, table jenga, and connect 4 games were also outside, so there are things to do while you wait. the food is spectacular. Try their homemade jams and hot sauce! You won't be disappointed! Service was excellent. We sat at the bar, bartender was great (Jasmine), and the wait time for our food was under 10 mins. I ordered the BIG BAD BISCUIT - Make sure you have room in your belly because the portions are extremely generous! I could only eat half of the biscuit! Very clean, "homey", and just an overall wonderful experience. Great Job!“

“My first time going. It was the last day of Louisville Taco Week. I got each of the three tacos they were offering. The Basic Betty Smash Taco, The Jalapeño Popper Smash Taco and The Love Child Smash Taco. There is too much to list for each taco, just know that they all have a different type of smash burger in it. Each one had it's own different flavor, I took one bite of each and each bite was better than the last. I'm not sure if these are on the regular menu, but if not they should be. When I got there my cousin was eating a carne asada eggs roll, I ordered one but didn't try it just yet, but she said it was fire. I want to return and see what else on the menu I'm going to enjoy. It will be very soon.I apologize for the the photo, I know it doesn't look good, this was after I took a bite of each taco.“

“This was our first stop when we arrived late to Louisville. While their kitchen was closed we had the best time tasting bourbons with the guidance of their young bartender. He educated us on bourbon and made excellent recommendations! We had so much fun. Also recommended a late night fourth meal location that we walked too later. This bar has an extensive bourbon collection, great service, while we cannot comment on the food I am sure it's nothing short of amazing! Thanks for a wonderful experience.“

“The food was fresh and delicious and very nicely presented! We had burgers, Nashville hot chicken, wings and exotic fries. Service was very friendly but quite slow and our cups sat empty for most of our meal.Parking: Evening wouldn't be an issue. There are parking meters along the roads but are only monitored I believe 8am-6pm“

“Such a quick lunch spot! the line moves very quickly and they've clearly got the assembly line down. Honestly, the efficiency reminds me more of a NYC lunch spot and I mean that in the best way. The food is also fresh, delicious and seasonal (obviously)!“

“The restaurant from the outside is simple, but when you enter and order fish, it is really wonderful. I am from the Arabian Gulf. My country is Bahrain in the middle of the sea. We have a lot of fish. I know good fish and a good cook and taste. But here the restaurant is really wonderful. I have not tried any fish restaurant in Louisville because the fish that is not good makes me Sick and this is my second visit in a week. I will be a customer and it is close to our home. I liked this restaurant and all the staff are friendly“

Exceptional service from the whole staff all the time, every time! Kevin, Ryan, Lance and all the other personable staff there make every visit special. The foods delicious and the menu options are great!“

“Portion sizes and flair for fresh and local is all spot on. You will not leave hungry but usually not with leftovers either. The caliber of cooks and chefs here is top notch. And I adore the simplicity and rotation of the menu through the seasons. We say you can always tell someone's skill by how they make soup and these are the best soups I've ever had. Muligatawny all the way!! Seriously good food for foodies. AND such a wonderful cause and mission. I always leave feeling good.“

“I am obsessed with this deli. I’ve been slowly working my way through the menu, trying everything, and yesterday I hit number seven, the rare roast beef. It officially became my favorite, and I might have a hard time moving on to try other things. Everything they do is delicious, thoughtful, and I love the way the space feels when I’m there.“

“Got three burgers to split and share amongst the group. All were very good. The bacon cheeseburger was really good. Mushroom and Swiss was super juicy and made to perfection. the best one was the one with prime rib, adding the au ju elevated the burger even more than it already was. The Cajun fries were more on the salty side, so I would probably just go regular next time. Lucky milkshake made with vanilla instead of mint chocolate chip- super thin kinda milky without the vanilla ice cream texture but the chocolate whip cream was where it's at. Definitely would recommend if you are in the mood for a juicy burger.“

“Love this place! Each burger is very unique and seasoned to fit the style of where the meat came from. I have been here several times and have had the wagu, elk, and recently the yak burger. They were all so different and so good! Highly recommend if you want to try something new and different“

“Our brunch experience was pure perfection from start to finish, thanks to the extremely friendly staff (you know who you are, Tone ?) setting up additional outdoor tables on the patio for us without us even having to ask. The sun was out – and they knew where ours heads were at. ?All of the brunch dishes I’ve ordered here have been divine. The staff is always friendly, goes above and beyond, and doesn’t make their guests feel uncomfortable asking for meal substitutions/alterations from the listed menu items. Everything is very chill – the way brunch should be!Thanks for another great experience in the Highlands sunshine, HM! ☀️??Dietary restrictions: Staff doesn’t mind menu customizations upon request“

“We shared a breakfast with friends and family before going out to the Easter parade on Frankfort Avenue. The food was great, but the service was even better. Conner was incredible. Super responsive and attentive to anything we needed. If we ever go back, it will be to this location, and it will be because of Conner.“
“We absolutely LOVE this restaurant! It is, by far, one of the (new) secret treasures in Butchertown. We adore the owner and staff, as we knew most of them from the previous establishment, Decca, and some from other favorite spots in Louisville. The entire menu is thoughtful and creative. The gluten free options are plentiful, as I have CD. Since their menu changes, some of the things I highly recommend this February are:Cocktails:Death Becomes HerLook AliveSalad:Buttermilk greens with garlic struselSmall plates:Marbled potatoesMarinated olivesEntrees:The mackerel (tonight's special)ANY steak on the menu (when it's offered)The chicken with Dijon jus (so good)!Honestly, the entire place has been perfectly curated. It's hands down one of the finest places in Louisville all-around.“

“Wow! The food really is yummy! The owner welcomed us as if we knew him for years. I don’t know his name, but wish I found out since we are best friends now. This guy was so nice and happy to see us even though we didn’t know him. Just look at him rushing over to ask how we are doing! The food was all organic, and no fake ingredients, we were told. My new best friend told us all about the cooking process, and how much attention to detail is used, and you can tell it is really true. We came from Michigan, and we might just drive all the way down here just for this place! Definitely come to this place if you want the best food in town.Kid-friendliness: It’s great!“

“My husband and I cannot rave enough about our entire experience at Buck’s! Kris, the general manager, was incredibly welcoming. Natalie, our server, was very attentive. “We had the absolute best tour at Copper and Kings. We visited half a dozen distilleries and took tours and this was by far our favorite. We did the culinary tour and our tasting at the end of the tour was paired with amazing bites prepared by Chef Josh. Everything was delicious and the portions were larger than we expected for small bites. The quality of the food was excellent. It was one of the best meals we had in Louisville - tied with Proof on Main and the Cuban restaurant. Our tour guide Daniel was super knowledgeable, funny, and incredibly personable. We loved Maple the dog too. This is a must do when visiting Louisville because the Brandy distillery offers something a little different than your usual Bourbon tour, the food is impeccable, and the people are super friendly.“

“Stopped here on a road trip for lunch. Loved the atmosphere as soon as we walked in. Handwritten menu, plants, etc. David took our orders and didn't rush us thru, took time to talk and learn about us. Kids had grilled cheese sandwiches and loved the sourdough. I had tomato bisque (yum) and salad. Husband had chicken salad and raved about the pickles. The restaurant is unique. It has 4 different seating areas. We sat alone on the bottom level and had a very pleasant lunch. Restaurant was very clean and homey. Will def be back if we ever return to Louisville!“

“Arrived at 5 p.m and my friend and I were promptly greeted & seated. We had our drink orders taken and were given the menus to look over. It took us a bit of time to browse through so many delicious options & decide! She ordered the crab cake with grilled vegetables and a Caesar salad. I went with the small wedge salad and a build your own pizza with 1/2 mushrooms and bacon. So good! Our waitress kept our water filled and checked in but didn't impede our catching up and conversation flow which was nice! We both said we need to eat here more often! Wide variety of options to pick from. The dessert menu looked so good but we didn't give in to temptation... this time.“

“we recently ate at Steak and Bourbon for my 66th birthday. lovely atmosphere. good service. however, my husband ordered a $50 steak (NY Strip) which was less than stellar. he ate it until the last 4c bites were un-chewable due to the gristle. he mentioned it to the server as she cleared our dishes. she meekly apologized and left us our bill with a 20% tip. no manager to address the issue and no discount on an expensive cut of meat. we ate generous in our tipping, but we were slightly offended that 20%was decided for us. the gristle and the 20% both left a bad taste in our mouth. we won't be visiting again.“

“The food here was absolutely AMAZING! I ordered the Farmhouse Skillet and we shared the Banana's Foster French Toast. Everything, down to the buttered toast with strawberry preserves, far exceeded any expectations that I had. Our server (Hallie) was so helpful and attentive without being overly present. She was pretty much the textbook definition of superior service. Her personality was great and she exuded good vibes! “An experience that lays not just with the food, but the staff. We had to switch our birthday reservation last minute due to driving our sweet cat Luna to the animal hospital. I felt horrible. Manager Anna was not a teensy bit worried about our cancelation, but exceptionally worried about our cat. She went on to ask Luna's name and other questions. Experiencing this human kindness meant the world - especially in that moment. Anna moved our reservation to the next day and made sure we were exceptionally cared for! She paired Neve to be our server (also a cat lover). I was surprised when he asked about Luna! We went on to swap cat photos and names. It was basic human connection - that I feel is often lost in society and certainly in dining experiences. Not at 610. Expect staff to care about you. Due to the cost and the desire to tip 30%+, a meal like 610 happens once a year for us. However, after this experience, we will go to less date nights - just to experience 610 more. This is because of the kind gestures Anna and Neve provided for us during a time of great sorrow. Our sweet cat may have died, but our latest experience at 610 will last forever! Oh, and the food... when coming to view reviews of 610, we are all saying the same dang thang. Order the 5 or 7 course meal. Go with the wine pairing. Arrive hungry, and you won't go wrong. The menu continuously provides innovative flavors curated with passion. A quintessential Louisville favorite. A must. Please, book your reservation now!“
