“Out of towners trying this breakfast/brunch restaurant out for the first time! outside atmosphere was adorable and gives a feel of "home". Patio seating and seats outside under a tent, where the outside bar is! The wait time was about 45 mins for a table, but that was perfectly okay because of the outside bar and porch to wait! cornhole, table jenga, and connect 4 games were also outside, so there are things to do while you wait. the food is spectacular. Try their homemade jams and hot sauce! You won't be disappointed! Service was excellent. We sat at the bar, bartender was great (Jasmine), and the wait time for our food was under 10 mins. I ordered the BIG BAD BISCUIT - Make sure you have room in your belly because the portions are extremely generous! I could only eat half of the biscuit! Very clean, "homey", and just an overall wonderful experience. Great Job!“

“My first time going. It was the last day of Louisville Taco Week. I got each of the three tacos they were offering. The Basic Betty Smash Taco, The Jalapeño Popper Smash Taco and The Love Child Smash Taco. There is too much to list for each taco, just know that they all have a different type of smash burger in it. Each one had it's own different flavor, I took one bite of each and each bite was better than the last. I'm not sure if these are on the regular menu, but if not they should be. When I got there my cousin was eating a carne asada eggs roll, I ordered one but didn't try it just yet, but she said it was fire. I want to return and see what else on the menu I'm going to enjoy. It will be very soon.I apologize for the the photo, I know it doesn't look good, this was after I took a bite of each taco.“

“My husband and I went here for the first time last night for his birthday. This place truly impressed both of us. The restaurant was cozy and had live jazz style music. The service was lovely and all of the food was outstanding! We will definitely be back.“

“This was our first stop when we arrived late to Louisville. While their kitchen was closed we had the best time tasting bourbons with the guidance of their young bartender. He educated us on bourbon and made excellent recommendations! We had so much fun. Also recommended a late night fourth meal location that we walked too later. “We had a girls night out at Square Cut and it was fantastic! We had the “chefs table” menu so we could try several different things and every single bite was amazing. My favorites were the pumpkin dip and mussels. I’m looking forward to my next visit!“

“Got three burgers to split and share amongst the group. All were very good. The bacon cheeseburger was really good. Mushroom and Swiss was super juicy and made to perfection. the best one was the one with prime rib, adding the au ju elevated the burger even more than it already was. The Cajun fries were more on the salty side, so I would probably just go regular next time. Lucky milkshake made with vanilla instead of mint chocolate chip- super thin kinda milky without the vanilla ice cream texture but the chocolate whip cream was where it's at. Definitely would recommend if you are in the mood for a juicy burger.“

“Wow! The food really is yummy! The owner welcomed us as if we knew him for years. I don’t know his name, but wish I found out since we are best friends now. This guy was so nice and happy to see us even though we didn’t know him. Just look at him rushing over to ask how we are doing! The food was all organic, and no fake ingredients, we were told. My new best friend told us all about the cooking process, and how much attention to detail is used, and you can tell it is really true. We came from Michigan, and we might just drive all the way down here just for this place! Definitely come to this place if you want the best food in town.Kid-friendliness: It’s great!“

“We had the absolute best tour at Copper and Kings. We visited half a dozen distilleries and took tours and this was by far our favorite. We did the culinary tour and our tasting at the end of the tour was paired with amazing bites prepared by Chef Josh. Everything was delicious and the portions were larger than we expected for small bites. The quality of the food was excellent. It was one of the best meals we had in Louisville - tied with Proof on Main and the Cuban restaurant. Our tour guide Daniel was super knowledgeable, funny, and incredibly personable. We loved Maple the dog too. This is a must do when visiting Louisville because the Brandy distillery offers something a little different than your usual Bourbon tour, the food is impeccable, and the people are super friendly.“

It took us a bit of time to browse through so many delicious options & decide! She ordered the crab cake with grilled vegetables and a Caesar salad. Our waitress kept our water filled and checked in but didn't impede our catching up and conversation flow which was nice! We both said we need to eat here more often! “An experience that lays not just with the food, but the staff. We had to switch our birthday reservation last minute due to driving our sweet cat Luna to the animal hospital. I felt horrible. Manager Anna was not a teensy bit worried about our cancelation, but exceptionally worried about our cat. She went on to ask Luna's name and other questions. Experiencing this human kindness meant the world - especially in that moment. Anna moved our reservation to the next day and made sure we were exceptionally cared for! She paired Neve to be our server (also a cat lover). I was surprised when he asked about Luna! We went on to swap cat photos and names. It was basic human connection - that I feel is often lost in society and certainly in dining experiences. Not at 610. Expect staff to care about you. Due to the cost and the desire to tip 30%+, a meal like 610 happens once a year for us. However, after this experience, we will go to less date nights - just to experience 610 more. This is because of the kind gestures Anna and Neve provided for us during a time of great sorrow. Our sweet cat may have died, but our latest experience at 610 will last forever! Oh, and the food... when coming to view reviews of 610, we are all saying the same dang thang. Order the 5 or 7 course meal. Go with the wine pairing. Arrive hungry, and you won't go wrong. “Great dinner for 5 at classic Louisville Bardstown road location. I think reasonably priced too our tab included bar drinks and a nice bottle of red wine. I enjoyed very nicely cooked grilled salmon, wasabi potent to my liking ( if you have a wasabi limit, mention that to your server so they can dial it back for you ) something for everyone as chicken livers salad, burger, chicken piccata also enjoyed at our table. “We had a party of four for lunch today, including three adults, and one child. The restaurant was very accommodating for the five year old, making sure he got what he wanted! The three adults were very happy with our food too. Everything was absolutely delicious, and cooked perfectly! From the appetizers to the burgers to dessert, everything was absolutely delicious. Our server Kyle was very friendly and efficient. He gave us plenty of time to decide what we wanted and made sure we had everything we needed. He kept our drinks filled as well! One of the managers, Jay, stopped by our table to see how everything was going, and we appreciated that! Between the food, the service, and the experience, it was fabulous, and we will all go back again! Highly recommend it!“

“The tacos have my whole heart!!! No seriously, after trying their Thanksgiving taco I have been raving about it to my husband. It got to the point where he told me to either stop talking about it or take him to get one. So we went and got one. Another taco of theirs I really like is the chipotle chicken one. I am a little ashamed to admit, but I've been here many times recently and I've gotten the Thanksgiving taco three of those times , there is just some thing about the zest in their cranberry sauce that really pulls it together. All that to say- I'm excited to come back and try even more of the taco combinations! This is a great place to stop in NuLu for a drink and snack, or you can make a meal out of the menu items. Around the holidays the bar turns into "miracle on market" and becomes a Christmas lovers dream. They usually post who is DJ'ing on their socials. The staff has always been kind and welcoming, food and drinks come out relatively quick even when the place is packed! Overall: check them out even if it's not the holidays, the fun tacos will hook your attention!“

“Best spot in Highlands to grab a pint and a bite, trust me when I say this is authentic Bardstown Rd Louisville, for better for worse (mostly better!). The staff and clientele are regulars and even come visit, from past to present; this is a friendly, family place, and the tastes and menu are diverse and welcoming. From Czech beer to Asian foods to Americas finest IPAs they have it, along with Sushi rolls and bar bites, from plain to fancy, they have it. Board games and card games, they have that too. Come in and say hi today, I’ll be set outside on the patio/sidewalk with a pint and some delicious food.“

“Red Hot Chicken!? Red Hot Chicken would be better described as a mediocre, beer, pub buffalo chicken wings. Today the chicken was chewy and overcooked. Buffalo sauce would've been more mirrored to a place where they wear Tight shorts and tight shirts. Overall fabulous experience. Wonderful menu, great staff and the crabcakes are to fight for. Biggest suggestion I could make would be that the restaurant provide a lunch menu so as not to confuse the guest with items that were not able to be purchased until after 5 PM. When I return, it will definitely be after 5 PM and I'm looking forward to trying the lamb and the spaghetti.“

“hate to leave a bad review but was disappointed in the food. the filet was just ok...not very tender...no sides came with it and for 59 thats ridiculous. The calamari was really good but could have came with a dipping sauce..we had to ask for one. The mushrooms were overcooked and too salty. The salads weren't big at all. The lump crab came in a tiny metal ramekin and it was salty as well and wasn't lump at all..it was shredded. Presentation on a lump crab shouldn't be served this way in such a fancy restaurant. on a positive note...the manager was very professional and they took care of the whole bill plus gave us dessert. I just want to leave this as constructive criticism for them so hopefully they improve the quality and quantity of their food for people paying high dollar. Maybe the chef was overwhelmed or having a bad night not sure. The environment was nice...gorgeous view. Just think there's a lot of changes that should be made to get a higher rating.“

They were HUGE and fluffy and the house sausage is super good and herby. I would definitely eat the food here again.My biggest (and really only) issue was the noise. I'm not sure if it was because it was a Saturday or we were next to a large party also celebrating a birthday, but it was INCREDIBLY loud to the point where we could not hear each other without shouting. My Dad, embarrassingly enough, even whipped out his decibel app which clocked the restaurant at 91db. According to Google that is the decibel level of a pneumatic drill.I would really like to come back to this place if they can find a way to dampen the sound. But if you have older folks in your party this may not be the place to go without a few complaints.“

“I was looking for a Black owned spot to visit while in Louisville and The House of Marigold was recommended. So glad I checked it out. First of all, let's talk about how nice the space is. Everything was thoughtfully done. Now let's get into the food. I had the biscuits and gravy and oh my. The biscuits were huge and fluffy and the gravy was nice and peppery. From life music, Trivia, Music Bingo, Djs, charity fundraisers and event hosting there is always something going on here. Their menu is a great variety leaving a tough decision of picking a favorite. For me I would have to say the Philly cheesesteak with tots! All of the bartenders and wait staff are super friendly and make you feel like family. Even the GM Chris will come around chat with you! This is a prime spot that you much check out and see for yourself! I definitely will be back!“

“My partner and I were in town for a comedy show, we stopped by here beforehand and it was great! It is tapas style, so we split a larger dish and ordered 3 small plates with a snack. We loved the atmosphere, the decor was wonderfully thought out. It was very clean, and we appreciated the restrooms being gender neutral. The service was fantastic, at one point my partner dropped his napkin and the server brought over a clean, folded one before we even noticed! Food came out fast and hot as well, and the servers were all friendly and accommodating. The food was mostly delicious, we loved the small plate Crispy Halloumi Salad and the snack cheese stuffed dates. We didn't exactly love the Crispy Rice dish or the Roasted Beets, but they were both so well prepared and beautiful that we really couldn't complain. We will definitely stop back in whenever we're back in Louisville, especially because they have a seasonal menu.“
