“Outstanding place with great food!!“

“We visited this place on a busy Friday night. The owners of both the brewery and the restaurant (yes they are separate businesses) were both there and working. The place was packed with people! There were families enjoying a meal, friends catching up over a drink, or regulars enjoying a laugh at the bar with the friendly staff.

All beers are made in house by the owner and head brewer. They generally have a beer style for everyone. Everything from light beer (regular domestic beer) to ipa's (Till the Battle Is Won) to big boozy stouts (Saturn Ascends). Beers are made true to style, mostly with a German background. If you like a classic pilsner or kolsch, you will not be dissapointed, some of the best in the city! Matter of fact, get a flight so that you can try multiple beers. If beer isn't your thing, try one of their house made bourbon slushies, they're really good. And how can I forget their bourbon selection?

The food at Bender's Pub Grub is all made to order and from scratch, so be prepared to wait a little bit as they make your food. And trust me you will not be disappointed! The food is some of the best in the area!

If you are looking for an adult only corner bar with $2 PBR's and $1 jello shots, this place isn't for you. It's family friendly, welcoming, and some of the best beer and food in the city! Give it a try, we did, and we'll definitely be back!“

“Empress chili is where it all started. You have Empress to thank for Cincinnati chili. Had to go to the last remaining one open. Coneys were my favorite menu item. Glad to see chili pizza on the menu and interesting takes on classics like chili and spaghetti coneys. They also had fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and a variety of sandwiches. The building itself was very large inside and very clean. I was surprised how nice it was. Awesome restaurant, definitely check it out and pay your respects to a chili legend.“

“My favorite Asian buffet. Good food, friendly people, and good pricing. The sushi is my favorite in the area. The wait staff are very friendly and mostly extremely helpful. I go here with my 90-year-old mother and the servers often take care to seat us near the buffet and our last girl even followed my mother and carried her plate back to our table for us. Lovely place. Also, they offer menu service which is really good and a hibachi.“

“We had dinner at the downtown location this evening to celebrate my son’s graduation from the military, and leaving to report to his first assignment. From the time we were seated, to the time we left, several staff members came over to shake his hand and thank him for his service, even the General Manager. We always receive exceptional care from any Jeff Ruby’s establishment, but are so grateful to our amazing server Peter along with all of the other staff who took the time to make our family feel so special. “Today I traveled from Florida to Cincinnati. My sister and I wanted to get a bite to eat . We didnt want to get fast food that you could get on every corener . While leaving the airport I Googled restaurants close by . There were several to choose from however, we decided on Pig Candy BBQ this restaurant did not disappoint. The food was amazing ( we had the special which was the brisket sandwich) this sandwich was very tender and full of flavor. If you are just traveling through or a local or feel up to a drive this is definitely worth your time .The staff knows what customer service means . All around Great food and service. “This place is a 6/10 in.my book. burger was over cooked, wings also. the bacon cheese fries were atrocious. cold cheese, something that I assume was bacon before it was cooked to 1980s baco bits. the coney was a 7/10. it tasted like something was missing. I was really looking forward to this place but I have high expectations for a $16.00 burger. it was thin (the new trnd is called smash that means thin) and cooked to a point that lost it juices.(not that I was asked how I wanted it cooked) its a cozy ..ok cramped space but cool vibe but sorry waaaaaaay over priced for the quality of food we were served our server was ok. Im not mad just disappointed“

“I met a group of friends here for dinner. The restaurant is nice & clean. It wasn’t crowded. But since the weather was nice we sat outside on the patio. Service was prompt. I ordered the steak sandwich with aioli & it came with a side salad. The bread was fresh & the steak was tender. But there was a lot of bread. The side salad was average the dressing was so less I could barely taste it. For a $19 sandwich I was expecting a little more filling & bread not being the main attraction. I would go again but I wouldn’t suggest it.“

All the servers are friendly including the girls that work the front at the greeting and the workers at the bar. Love this spot hopefully they get more recognition!“

The food was great and the staff was not only friendly but patient with my grandchildren as well. I have two that are extremely picker eaters and the devoured the tenders. I can not remember the owners name I think it was Phyllis please forgive me if I'm wrong but she was such a class act. She personally came out to check on everything and make sure we glad everything we needed. In a world full of the art of customer service being lost this place made a lasting impact on myself and my family. Our youngest is teething so as any parent or grandparents know with young children it can be stressful when they aren't feeling well in public. The owner made sure we felt welcome and just over and beyond what I would of expected. the atmosphere had a home town feel. Not sure if you will ever see this post but thank you for having a place that family's can enjoy.“

“I was responsible for placing a rather large corporate order with specialty pizzas, dietary restrictions and extra requests. Alicia (unsure of the spelling) was working the morning shift on 2/26 and absolutely rocked. She handled the order for me while handling the walk in orders, made sure everything was perfectly cooked and cut, and it seemed like she was training another employee at the same time (all three folks working on the order were great but only caught her name!). Next time I’m in charge of the group lunch order, I know where I’m going.“
