Captain D's Seafood Reviews
However: a door dash or other delivery person shouldn't have to get in the regular customer line to pick up an order. I stood to the side for several minutes, phone and order bag in hand/visible, waiting for someone to acknowledge me. I know they were busy and I didn't want to holler out or wave my phone at somebody or stick it in their face as I've heard some dashers do. But there was someone running out orders, whom I'd hoped would see that I was waiting for such. We are on...read full review
They are stingy with the sauces. We like lots of tarter with our fish. There is always one lady that I am "lucky" enough to get every time at the drive thru who refuses to give us extra and gets mad if we ask for more. We call her the Tarter Nazi. I'll be glad when she is gone and we can get our order the way we like again. Shouldn't they try to make the customer happy so we want to come back? I dont get it.

Captain D's offers a seafood-focused menu, featuring fried fish, shrimp, and hushpuppies as standout items. While some side dishes like fries and green beans may not always hit the mark, the seafood itself is enjoyable. A Deluxe Seafood Platter was praised, although a hair in the food was a concerning issue. The staff is attentive and accommodating, even to special requests for pets. However, there have been concerns about the service, as delivery personnel have to wait in the regular customer line, which can be frustrating. The drive-thru has also been reported as extremely slow, with some customers waiting almost half an hour. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, making it convenient for all diners, but it could use some remodeling, as there are reports of peeling paint and cobwebs.
