“I love this style of Chinese food, usually referred to as New York style, or fast Chinese. Your food will be made to order so it will be hot and fresh, and portions are generous, with most entrees usually enough for two.

Kid-friendliness: Dining area seems fine for families with children of all ages. It's sparse but functional and has all you need.“

“We enjoyed our dinner at PF Chang's last Saturday evening. The food was very good and the prices were more reasonable than we had remembered. Our server was very conscientious. One thing I should mention, however, is that the restaurant didn't have a record of our reservation even though I had received an email (or perhaps it was a text) confirming our reservation and also received a message to remind us about our reservation. When I mentioned these things to the hostess she said that their system doesn't always interface well with the Open Table app. Just something to be aware of! If you make a reservation using Open Table, you might also want to call the restaurant at some point prior to your dining time to confirm that you actually do have a reservation. In our case the fact that the restaurant didn't have a record of our reservation didn't create a problem because they had plenty of tables available when we arrived.“

“I got General Tso's chicken and fried rice. I asked for it extra spicy and they didn't play any games with how spicy they made it: for reference, I dip tortillas in habanero hot sauce for a snack. But they offer it non-spicy if you ask.

Sometimes with chicken from chinese restaurants you have to toss a few pieces of gristle; not here. All the chicken they served me was tender and moist. Fried rice was the same, everything was well-cooked. Taste was great as well.

Parking: It is tucked back inside of a dip in the strip mall store fronts so you may miss it when driving by.“

“We ordered two entrees from Door Dash. A completely different entree was sent instead of one of the ones ordered. We called the restaurant and they worked with Door Dash to make it right. They went above and beyond, making sure that we had extras and we knew how sorry they were for the mistake. Door Dash took quite awhile to deliver it but that wasn’t Happy Dragon’s fault. Emphasis is certainly on the Happy part at Happy Dragon. Thank you all for caring! Also, the bourbon chicken is delicious!“

“We’ve loved Yen Ching for at least 15 years. The food is awesome and the staff are friendly and welcoming. We have tried the tofu with vegetables in garlic sauce, Mongolian beef, and beef with vegetables in garlic sauce. Wonton soup and Crab rangoon are the best around! “This place has been my go-to & favorite place for fast Chinese food! I've literally been a loyal patron of theirs for over a decade. They provide the kindest service and I've always treated us with the utmost respect. Service like this is dying out these days. You will always be greeted with a smile and warmed by it.As for the food in my opinion it's one of the best Louisville has to offer and they don't get enough credit for that!The restaurant is always clean and maintained with direct sight to the kitchen. “I ordered shrimp with garlic sauce today (10/05/24) and 3 egg rolls, and it was delicious! The preparation time was fast, and the service was great. The young lady at the counter who assisted me was kind enough to give me my drink when I didn’t have the cash…only card. People don’t have to be kind to you and give you things when they operate a business, but it is highly appreciated. She told me that I didn’t have to pay with my card, because the drink was only one dollar; but I insisted, and she suggested that I come back another day with $1 to pay. I’m deciding to leave this review instead. I appreciated her kind gesture.“

“I have only had take out from here I have to give a neutral rating for atmosphere. I can say however is that the food and service are great. I normally get an couple of quarts of hot sour soup which I take home and eat on for a couple of days. I have had HS soup from a number of eateries across Louisville. My party ordered take out to share including orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken, spring rolls, fried rice, rangoon & wings. “My absolute favorite Chinese Food place. Lots of take out orders filled, which allows for the few tables to remain available. It's my go to for a quite dinning experience with amazingly flavorful food. My favorite dish is the Hunan Shrimp with broccoli, snow peas and carrots only. It never disappoints! “I absolutely love the Westport Rd. Panda Express! The staff are always friendly, and are sure to make you satisfied. The other day they were out of greens and said they’d make me a fresh batch without me even asking. The store is clean both behind the counter as well as the lobby. Even better is the fact I can get a plate with an additional side for $11.98. In 2024 that is saying something.“

“This place is what it is. It’s typical Chinese takeout with a few. Tables to eat at. That said food here is wonderful. I’ve been a frequent customer for years. I usually get the typical dishes. While talking to one of the guys from the kitchen, I discovered Singapore Chow Mei Fun. I got this on recommendation and tell you it was one of the best things I’ve ever put my mouth. With chicken and shrimp mixed with rice noodles plus the other things and lightly seasoned with curry. I’m not a fan of curry, but all this together was absolutely wonderful. This will be my go to order going forward.“

“They had an A rating on the glass window and other than a table that needed cleaning up, it was fine from all I could see; bathroom included. Had the mixed vegetables in brown sauce with white rice and really enjoyed it.The vegetables were served in their own container with a top in it to keep hot. The rice was on a Styrofoam place of its own.Unfortunately, when we each ordered water, we weren't initially told they had no machine or tap water as their soft drink dispenser was broken. We paid for bottled water. He was nice enough to let me have a second bottle as I drink a lot of H2O these days. Would definitely go back if in the area.

“Huge selection of menu items! Dined in … delicious meal served to us quickly and everything was hot and full of wonderful flavor. Didn’t take long to have dinner brought to us and apparently lots of customers order ahead and pick up on the way home.“

“They have really beautifully redecorated! The food is still delicious and the staff were still very friendly! I actually really love that are actively trying to minimize food waste and asking customers to help too. They are charging a fee if you waste more than 2 plates of food. It didn't bother us at all to simply be mindful of what we got from the buffet and just go back for more if we wanted more.“
