“Came in about 5:00 p.m. The restaurant wasn't busy at all, it was limited staff at the moment, but we ended up getting three tacos, a side of rice, and some water, the steak tacos we're very juicy and tinder, the barbacoa flavor like the little profile, but it was a nice compliment.

The al pastor Taco I got was very nice, the pineapple and pork was stewed very well, and everything came with a very heaping pile of onions, plenty of lime.

The rice was quite nice, definitely not your standard Mexican restaurant style rice, it was obvious that it was cooked with peppers and made in-house, likely poblano.

Staff was very nice, and the restaurant was very clean although a little dull due to the lack of clientele at the time.“

Literally, my wife’s napkin fell to the ground and after I picked it up, the lady who was the host to us seen it and brought her a new one. Drinks did not run dry, and every single member of the staff was helping out and conversing with us. The owner and chef even came out to shake my hand. What an absolute gem in Cincinnati. “I always have such a great experience at Afterlife. The bartenders are incredibly engaging and genuinely caring, which makes the whole atmosphere feel welcoming and fun every time I visit. They even have small blind bags, which is such a unique and playful touch.

There are a lot of Asian-inspired drinks out there, but Afterlife really stands out—they do an amazing job bringing out the flavors without making the drinks overly spirit-heavy. Everything feels balanced and intentional.

The rice ball drink is by far my favorite—it smells just like sweet rice cakes and has a perfectly balanced flavor with tea and pandan liquor. It’s honestly one of the most memorable drinks I’ve had.

The interior design is super trendy and ties in perfectly with the music and overall vibe of the space. Definitely a spot I keep coming back to.“

“This was our first Tokyo Pie visit, and my wife and I had a great time celebrating my birthday on a Tuesday night. We grabbed a table by the bar and ordered cocktails from the friendly bartender. Then ordered two pies through the QR code (super quick using Google Pay). We could have ordered them from the bartender also. I then did order the dessert hand pie from the bartender. Everything was fantastic! The flame and mushroom pizzas were unique and delicious (plus we had leftovers). The hand pie was killer. Drinks were great and pleasing just to look at.

My family owned an Italian seafood restaurant in NJ for 26 years and I can say without hesitation the meatballs here are the best west of Arthur Ave in the Bronx! My NJ mind is blown!“
