7 Best Coffee Shops in Georgetown

“I started going to Scooter's for my morning coffee.
And my mid day coffee...
And my evening coffee.
Especially when I'm running between jobs.
They always get my order taken quickly and I don't have to sit around waiting in line. Even when there are a few cars ahead of me.
Whether it's a breakfast sandwich, a smoothie or just a simple cup of Joe to help you stay awake during those long shifts, I haven't had a bad experience yet.
I also had the chance to meet the owner, who was outside pulling weeds and sprucing up the place. And had a nice conversation with the man. You don't see that alot with chains.
And he's a local.
So, I feel like I'm supporting my fellow kentuckian when I go there and I'm never disappointed with his product.“

“I absolutely adored this place! I work at a cat cafe (very far away in Pennsylvania) but I always make it a point to visit a cat cafe when Im traveling. This place was amazing!! The coffee was great, as was the iced tea. But when I visit cat cafes Im here for the cats.
The cats were well taken care of. There were rules in places for their safety (monitoring kids, separate areas just for the cats with no visitors, etc) and the staff clearly love these animals which is really important to me.
I didnt catch either of their names, but my appointment was thursday January 15th, right at 11am. Both staff members were super attentive and helpful.
The guy brought our drinks in and knew everything there was to know about each cat, all their quirks and personalities.

“everything is very rich. but ask for your drinks without ice or with very very little ice, since they fill the glass with more ice than your drink. that's the only bad thing about it.“

“I had never been to Dutch Bros until this one! The service is absolutely incredible and the product is even better!! The vibes are super chill. All employees are so laid back and chill!! I 10/10 recommend them! My favorite drinks are the OG gummie rebel! And the golden eagle coffee!!“

“They should hire staff who are trained to work quickly and efficiently. Whenever I come, the restaurant is empty and they take too long to deliver orders. I could understand some of it, but the restaurant is always empty and they are just as slow. 🫤✅✌️“

“It was better the first time I went here but still the donuts are good and the coffee is pretty up there and the inside is a really nice area. The only thing to look out for is that the drive-through needs to be taken around the other shop instead of going around the one shop and out front to the dunkin.

Parking: There isn't much parking but there's not many who park out front.“
