“Upon arriving we were greeted and instructed to pick our own seat. The restaurant has a local vibe to it. Our server catered to our needs, especially in keeping our drinks refilled. The burgers, fries, okra, onion rings, & cheese quesadilla were all fresh and yummy. The owner we briefly spoke with as we were leaving was warm and personable as well. Thank you for this pleasant experience.“

“For the love of BBQ! I have been in the area for 7 yrs. This is the only BBQ I have found that is worth anything. I got the ribs, I LOVE RIBS, I couldn't even pick them up. The bones slid out of the meat. I did not have to gnaw on the bone. 100 “

“Great food, good service, the only thing I could fault (the age of the building) has more to do with the fact the restaurant has outgrown its current building. The BBQ sandwich was outstanding with the vinegar coleslaw. The staff was friendly and always talking with you (regardless if they knew you). I was treat as though I ate there daily even though it was my first time.“

“Our food was good as always, our waiter was was awesome and it was super busy as it was a Saturday night but everything was GREAT!!! We'll definitely be back soon!!!Parking: Not alot of parking and you have to walk a little ways on the weekends but through the week it's fine.Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant is NOT good for people in wheelchairs!!“

“I love this place very quick and friendly service. Good atmosphere the amount of sides is amazing and although I have not tried them all yet I though most of the menu and have not been disappointed at all. My favorites are the greens and white beans. Wonderful BBQ plates and the meat loaf is a must.“

“The portions are smaller than most restaurants these days but the prices are fair. The staff is amazing and it’s a cute place to go. I had the biscuits and gravy with sausage and eggs and my husband had the French dip. I will definitely go back.“

“What a local gem. Drove past this place on several occasions, always meaning to stop in. Have followed on Facebook for a very long time. Stopped in today to have some ribs and they were DELICIOUS. Very tender and flavorful. The sauces were also very good. We didn't get a chance to try the burgoo but we'll be back many more times to sample that on quite an expansive menu. Highly recommend if you're in the area.“
