“wanted to try a new place, sooooo glad we picked here!!! It’s very small from the outside, we actually drove past it the first time!! I was so taken aback how beautiful and unique the place is. Very nice staff, very very good food. I’ve been a few times and this last time JUST noticed you can tip the person rolling your sushi !! There’s a little jar on the sushi bar and you best believe I put 10 bucks in there. The Cancun roll is so fresh and delicious, you can tell they use fresh ingredients. Plants are displayed in the windows (something I could not shut up about the first time we went). Overall a very pleasant experience, I have a lot of respect for a restaurant that closes and reopens for dinner, so don’t be discouraged or disappointed if you’re there right in the middle of the day and they close up. They will be open for dinner!! the smallest most unassuming places are usually the best!! Give them a try :)

Vegetarian options: There’s a lot of noodle dishes, and of course sushi. Very nice rolls with fresh ingredients, quality product for sure.

Wheelchair accessibility: Parking lot is level with entryway, one way in and out, but still easy to move around inside and to accommodate a wheelchair“

“Good place for some quick Barbeque. But whoever decided it was a good idea to change some of the menu items, especially the fries really needs to rethink it. The changes IMHO hurt the unique flavors City BBQ always had. Again for example, the quality of the fries dropped significantly. I can really tell the difference between these and fast food fries now. Kinda dispointing.“

“We hosted a get together here and had a great time! Candace was so great to work with prior to the event and helped us organize drink tickets and a space for us for food. The day of the event, Brandy and Tommy (the bartenders) took great care of us and made sure everyone had a great time. This place is a hidden gem up on the hill with great staff, great bar selections, and a great atmosphere! We will be back.“

“Well, At first, I felt that me and my kids was unwelcomed, then I explained to Hunter the night Manger, and I felt really hurt about the service at first but they explained that it was a mix up with the servers, so I understood, Hunter explained that we are very much welcomed and I should not feel such a way. So by the end of the experience, we felt so cared for and the experience ended up so amazingly beautiful that I couldn'task for a better night! We was treated with so much compassion, great and unforgettable moments! I will always feel welcomed and cared for as a customer her now. “Today I traveled from Florida to Cincinnati. My sister and I wanted to get a bite to eat . We didnt want to get fast food that you could get on every corener . While leaving the airport I Googled restaurants close by . There were several to choose from however, we decided on Pig Candy BBQ this restaurant did not disappoint. The food was amazing ( we had the special which was the brisket sandwich) this sandwich was very tender and full of flavor. If you are just traveling through or a local or feel up to a drive this is definitely worth your time .The staff knows what customer service means . All around Great food and service. Burrata and tomato jam was basically an amazing caprese, sooo good. We also had truffle mushrooms which we added to dumpling broth, YUM! and also had the perfect broccoli with just an ok aioli. Was unimpressed with crab avocado toast, not worth the expense. Have had a a lot of crab food options s and this underwhelmed. My husband is a brownie sundae officianato and he seriously loved the s'more brownie dessert. Overall, great food and sat outside away from a noisy interior on a Friday night.“

Got a Johnny Trio with marsala on everything for date night, no regrets! It was one of the best takeout steaks I have had lately.

“Peewee's Place was a little greasy spoon we recently visited in Crescent Springs. It was a bar/grill type olace that had a pretty decent sized menu of various things from burgers to hoagies to wraps and all sorts of other bar food. We started off with some Tater Skins that were loaded with bacon and cheese with sour cream for dipping. Very good balance of toppings and the skins were perfectly cooked and made for a very good appetizer. I tried a couple of different things off their menu for my main course starting with some wings (shocking I know for those that know me). I tried 2 kinds of sauces 1 their XXX Boot Scootin (their hottest one) and the other "Newt" (spicy bbq). Their Boot Scootiin one definitely brought some heat which I appreciated and had stellar flavour as well. The Newt was a good version of a Spicy bbq although of these 2 I preferred the Boot Scootin. As good as the sauces were unfortunately the wings themselves were overcooked and quite dry which was disappointing because those sauces were some of the better wing sauces I've had in a while. I also tried some Buffalo Chicken Rolls (thing egg rolls but with Buffalo Chicken filling). These were unique and fairly good although I feel they kinda held back on the Buffalo flavour (would really like to try it with either the Boot Scootiin or Newt sauces). Most of what I had here was average to good but I believe that they the potential to be better. The service was fine and the restaurant looked good. I'll be back to try some other dishes coming up soon particularly their burgers.“

Just a heads-up: hold on to your dressings, as they come with an extra charge of a couple of bucks. All in all, a fantastic place to satisfy your arepa cravings!“

“We ate here for the first time last night , it was packed but we were seated right away and they moved us over to be closer to heat with no issues whatsoever; our server Emily was super sweet and the hostess as well !!! “My wife and I frequent Maplewood on the weekends for brunch. There are many options in downtown/OTR/northern Kentucky for breakfast on the weekends, but Maplewood is our favorite. The menu has a nice variety of American breakfast options, as well as healthier alternatives. We love the Guajillo Bowl and Mediterranean Bowl, but the Maplewood Hash is also delicious if you are in the mood for something a little heavier. The GM, Erik, often recognizes us and welcomes us back. Erik and his staff always do a great job with service, and mitigating the crowded weekend mornings. Bring back the Chicken Tiga!!! Note: It's first come, first serve seating and you are supposed to wait in line and order before being seated. However entitled guests sometimes circumvent the line and save tables for the rest of their party waiting at the back of the line, whom have yet to order. This often throws off the flow of available tables, because the people whom waited in line and just ordered, now do not have a table. It can get busy here on weekends, but if you go, don't be one of these people, please wait in line like everyone else. The line moves quickly and the staff turns over the tables quickly as well. The couple of times this has happened to us, the staff promptly sat us at the bar and gave us a discount on our breakfast.“

“I had the pleasure of trying the Jerk Chicken Quesadilla from Shango’s Urban Taqueria at The Gatherall at Factory 52, and wow – this was one of the most delicious things I’ve ever eaten! The smoked jerk chicken combined with pico, fire-roasted corn, and melty chihuahua cheese, all topped with their amazing DRIP Sauce, made for an unforgettable flavor experience.

On top of the incredible food, the service was fast, friendly, and truly accommodating. Shango’s is a gem that I can’t recommend enough, both for the food and the wonderful service. If you’re in the area, don’t miss it!“

“I’ve been here a couple times and absolutely loved it. It’s a good place to get a hearty breakfast and a good cup of coffee. The food is good, the service is outstanding and despite the place being a bit cramped at time it’s cozy. I particularly recommend this one thing I had that I think was called the Flying Pig. It was ham and swiss on french toast, and while that sounds weird it was absolutely delicious. Definitely check this place out if you can.“

“Sake Bomb is a great little Asian Restaurant/Sushi Bar in Erlanger. We've been here a few times but it had been quite a while. They have quite a lot Asian dishes but on this occasion we focused exclusively on the Sushi. Among the one's we had were the Sunday Morning (my personal favourite), fire scallop, and the firecracker among others. They are all visually appealing and absolutely delicious. The chef really took a lot of care crafting flavours into every bite. I really can't recommend their Sushi highly enough. Also I know I mentioned this in earlier reviews but the restaurant looks so magnificent and really authentic to Japanese culture. The seating is very close quarters so I must mention that as it might be off-putting to some. All in all the Sushi was excellent, the service was good, and the place looked awesome. Fantastic experience.“
