“We were in Louisville for just a quick trip and our family was looking for a good authentic Mexican place to eat. We were SO GLAD to have found this place! The ambience is amazing and so beautifully decorated. The service was perfect, but the best part of all was THE FOOD. The specials were Caldo de Camaron, Pozole Verde, and Chiles Rellenos all super authentic and tasted just like one would make it at home. The drinks were fantastic, we had agua de horchata and jamaica and both were sooo fresh and tasty. Overall, we were happy that the one place we chose to eat was here!! If you are hesitant to stop by, don’t be, just go!!“

“This is by far my favorite Mexican Restaurant in town, for both quality burritos, great meat options, authentic drinks, and at a fair price. They have a lot of choices you don’t commonly see anywhere north of Mexico. Honestly underrated and more people need to discover this restaurant. My recommendation: Chile Relleno burrito with Barbacoa 🌯.“

“I have heard everyone talking about Veronica's and I finally went there for the first time today. Our server was so nice, very attentive and she even brought my toddler a little pink rubber ducky. The menu is loaded with amazing food from numerous countries in S. America. Huge portions (food AND drink!) at reasonable prices and everything we tried was over-the-top delish! We've returned num times...our new favorite place to eat with consistently great food/drinks!“

“We are 2 globetrotting foodies, temporarily located to Louisville for work. Monday night dinner here (home made quesadillas with squash blossoms and corn smut, taco with chorizo) was followed by Tuesday night dinner here again (home made quesadillas again, tacos with chicharron, al pastor, campechano, lomo, carnitas). Our tummies say “thank you”!
It’s amazing that a food truck in a gas station 4 minutes from our house is serving such authentic food from Oaxaca, Mexico!

“The only reason I gave 4 stars...it was the first time to this restaurant. service was prompt, food was very good and a large portion. And I have to say I am trying to learn Spanish more and the servers were so kind when I messed up . I will definitely recommend this establishment“

“My girlfriend and I just had one of the best experiences here! Our waitress, Paola, was amazing. She made our experience 10x better. She was kind and super friendly. I asked for recommendations and she did not disappoint! If you ever come here, I’d say to request her if you can! Oh, and try the huckleberry frozen margarita and their house-made corn tortillas. 1000/10 experience and will definitely be coming back!“

“First things first! Walking in the door, the place is very clean. Bright and beautiful decor and a friendly greeting! There was a birthday party going on and the children were so well behaved. We placed a carryout order and the server was patient, helpful and kind. We got our food home and everything was absolutely delicious!! This is now our #1 spot!“

“Som of the best tacos I’ve had. We had carnitas, al pastor, asada, and pollo and they were all incredible. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The tienda also has a great selection of Latin foods, snacks, and drinks at a great price. Having lived in Central America, going to Taqueria Crestwood was super authentic.“

The mole enchiladas are my favorite, and you can never go wrong with the margaritas. They also have one of the best happy hours around.

It is nice that so many of the wait staff have been there for the entire time I have been stopping in. That says something about the place!! “We dined at the Hurstbourne location for Valentine's Day and was not disappointed!! There were full vases of flowers on every table as well as a Valentine's balloon. The restaurant was so festive, then to add to the ambiance a strolling violinist was playing a beautiful love song. My phone died so there aren't any pictures of the delicious food. The baskets of tortilla chips even had red heart shaped chips in the mix. Gustavo's pulled all the stops to make this holiday special for their customers!“

“We had about a 20 minute wait, which for a Saturday night is not bad at all. I ordered the huevos rancheros. It was pretty good. The tomatoes they used were under ripe so, the flavor was not what it should have been. Outside of that the food was really good. The margaritas were excellent!“
