Brittany at Fern Creek store was amazing. She was very helpful and professional and got us together for last minute treats for our son’s birthday!
Over the weekend I placed an order for a half sheet cake for my daughter’s baptism at the Highlands Pie Kitchen. When I picked it up I was absolutely SHOCKED at how bad the quality was. The writing was in print, and there were no decorative roses at all. I immediately called the Pie Kitchen in Fern Creek & asked if their baker had better penmanship and could fix the cake and they were working on my cake within 10 minutes. The Pie Kitchen is a place with great smells right through the door and friendly staff. The service was great, and the staff treats guests like royalty, offering a great selection of treats. Everything tried has been excellent, especially the cinnamon icecream. The cakes are made so thick with icing that every bite makes you want another one. The atmosphere is peaceful, not crowded, perfect for chatting with friends or family. The staff is wonderful and welcoming, with genuine Southern-style hospitality. However, one location has a tiny selection, with popular pie and ice cream selections gone, and no longer making favorite banana, peach, or Birthday cake flavors, replaced with Blue Bell ice cream. The women’s restroom was out of service, and the men’s room needed a good deep cleaning. Ice cream was very good, with the pumpkin and peace love and chocolate also very good.
