Waited in the lobby for 20 mins. Noticed people who ordered after me were getting their food. Went to the counter to ask how much longer. Employee told me she already gave me my food. To which I politely told her she didn't. Had somewhere to be so requested a refund. Both employees looked at me without a response. After again requesting a refund they said I should just wait on my food, that it would take longer to refund my money. Asked for a refund for a third time and they finally...read full review
Went by there this morning on the way home from work for breakfast. One lone employee was standing outside and told me that the managers had not shown up and didn't know why. She was waiting on them to let her in.
Carondelet and Gravier still belongs to the 1921 Cotton Exchange building, even with a hotel sign on it now. I walked the lobby marble and terrazzo, which still read as a commodity house more than a boutique stay, and the corner bank occupies what used to be the trading-floor edge. From the sidewalk the cornice work is clearer than it is inside.
