“Best tacos I've had by far in Kentucky some of the best tacos I've had period. I feel that's saying a lot since tacos have been my favorite food since I can remember. I am from the Sacramento Valley of California where if you know, you know tacos are kind of a big deal. I consider myself a top rate taco connoisseur. I'm talking grilled halibut Tacos, shrimp, tacos. Homemade salsa, grilled onions, Cilantro, tomato, avocado, jalapenos, carne asada, pollo, all that. Not saying they have all that at Buen Taco, just trying to enlighten you as to a bit of the relationship I have with tacos. With that said El Buen Taco makes by far the best tacos I've had outside of California. And... I would even go as far as to say that, for what they are, - i.e., just a great damn taco, I feel they're arguably as good as most any other taco I've had, ever, California not withstanding. I order the carne asada taco "with everything" (being just Cilantro & Onion). And with Carne asada I usually add avocado & tomato. I also really like their barb'coa taco with everything, and I don't add avocado nor tomato on that one. Their seasoning of the meat is as close to perfection as I know. Try it if you like tacos. They also make quesadillas and tortas. All three of their options are flipping great, but like I said, particularly, I'm a taco-ologist. That's my thing. My girl likes their quesadillas. I highly recommend this place.“

“I cannot say enough about the kindness of the staff here. My father had a medical emergency while waiting on dinner and the staff dialed 911 for me within seconds and offered to box up our food because we couldn’t stay to eat it. They also closed the restaurant while the EMT’s were working on Dad. I cannot say enough about the kindness of the employees/ staff. I have eaten there on other occasions too and the food has always been excellent.“

Both were wonderful, and both were some of the best I've ever had (meaning best Reuben sandwich and best Brussels sprouts. The brisket was tender and generous. Sever (Isaac) was absolutely awesome. Friendly and helpful. Food was an 8/10. The salad and Brussels sprouts were both really good. The medium rare steak came out medium well. Isaac took it right back and had a fresh steak prepared which was closer to medium rare at the thick end but dried up at the thinner end. For the money, I would have appreciated a more even cut of steak that could be prepared more consistently.

“I had the salad bar with my meal but my date did not so I offered him mine but the waitress said that was not an option. Fine, but I swear I felt like she cruised our table to make sure we didn't 'violate ' this 'rule'. It did make me feel uncomfortable. The food was very good and cooked well.“

I waited outside and was politely greeted by one of the employees as she came in for her shift. The gentleman that took my order was also very polite and professional.

“Suddenly remembered this place from years ago. They took our tour bus of +27 in when a racist restaurant nearby suddenly "forgot" our reservations and sent us away. They immediately brought up our moods with their warm personalities, good food and service.“

“I did a large online order and submitted it around 10:30AM. According to the online order, it would not be ready until 1140. I showed up about 1050 and asked them if it all possible they could get it done sooner. By 11:10 AM I was walking out with 5 pizzas.
