“we never ate here so we wanted to try it out. from the moment we walked in the door, it was an amazing experience. The service was amazing, all the staff were so friendly. The food was amazing. I had the filet, it was so tender and perfectly seasoned. The portions were perfect for us. I felt like I was leaving a family gathering, every staff member told us to have a good day. The service alone made me decided I'd definitely be returned, but the food sealed the deal.“

“My wife and I always make it a point to stop at Colby’s Fine Food and Spirits whenever we’re in Owensboro, and it never disappoints. We absolutely love the warm, inviting atmosphere and the consistently wonderful staff.\n\nA special shoutout to Jenny, our favorite waitress/bartender! She’s incredibly friendly, attentive, and always remembers exactly what we like — it makes every visit feel personal.\n\nThe food is top-notch every single time, but the potato soup deserves its own standing ovation. It’s easily one of our favorite dishes.\n\nThank you to everyone at Colby’s for always making us feel welcome when we stop by. “First time eating at Ritzy’s today, December 19, 2025. Atmosphere was quiet. Staff were friendly. Tables & floor were very clean. Soda machine & condiment area was clean. My boyfriend & I ordered two, #1s. Food was ready rather quickly, fresh & warm. Hamburgers were fantastic. The onion rings were delicious. I decided to order the famous PB & J, & I am glad I did. It looks so good! (Haven’t ate it yet) Overall, I will definitely stop in here again when I come to my hometown, Owensboro, KY!“

“We ate here for our anniversary and it did not disappoint! The meals were amazing but our favorite part was definitely the sushi bomb we shared as an appetizer. I’ll be dreaming about it for weeks. “Hands down best experience. Love me some culvers. Food good and greasy, always hot and fresh, drinks always ice cold and the frozen selection is amazing. Always end my meal with something cold and sweet. These people work their tails off and keep this store beyond clean. There is a reason the drive-thru and the inside is always packed out until after close.“

“Why I go the Beef O’Brady’s Owensboro? Angie and Joe. The food is good but you can get good food at a lot of places. If you want great service and a fun atmosphere , Angie and Joe have you covered. Angie is a great bartender and known to my fam and friends as “My Bartender” 😎 PS. I share. lol“

“While working on a film crew at the hotel, the entire Burger Theory staff went above and beyond to make our time as productive as possible. They were super friendly and accommodating with the use of their space throughout the shoot. Emily was the MVP. And special thanks to Katrina, Azalea, and Kaitlyn as well. On top of that, the food was great! I’ll definitely be back for the spicy chicken sandwich & fries!“

“Could have been a bad night but I can't recommend this place at this point. We went for a meal during burger week and after sitting for 2 hours with no food delivered to the table it was time to vacate the place. Wish them luck but not my buck.“

“I love Ritzy’s, but today my hamburger bun was soggy. Unusual! My one concern: the people at the cash register put their thumbs/fingers down in the cups when handing them. Yuk!“

“I brought my three boys and husband to eat here. Our waitress, Maci was a beautiful joy and made sure we had everything we needed. She also refilled my coffee and I never had to ask her to refill it once.
Hats off to the chef, Ruby. She made our food perfect. Probably the best experience I have had at this establishment.
Definitely recommend, especially when these two ladies work.“

“Went for dinner last minute and we were greeted at the door and served by a woman named Christina. She was more than helpful. So kind, so prompt, and didn't skip a beat. She was great. Just moved to Kentucky and this was my first time visiting the Longhorn here, and I can't tell you how impressed I was. Thanks again, and we will be back. 10/10 ask for her section!“

“We had lunch after church this past Sunday. We got the 2 for $25 special. The food was pretty good but what made our experience memorable was our server Erica. She told us it was only her 4th shift on her own and she'd never waited tables before. I was in the restaurant industry for many years and have a very critical eye when it comes to service. And I have to say, you'd never know it. She was confident, knowledgeable, and on the ball. She made us feel very welcome. I never had to ask for drinks. She kept us informed about the status of our meal. Anticipated needs, checked back without being pushy. She kept our table clean. I made sure to tell the manager Justin what a fantastic job she did. I was also very impressed with Justin.“

“We had a great time here! Party of 4 for dinner on a Friday. The rack of ribs, surf and turf, and kids pizza and fries were great! The service was awesome as well. Our waiter was Santos and he was fantastic. The manager Kim was also wonderful!“

“Wow wow wow what an experience. Our server Bradon from the beginning went above and beyond. They thanked us immediately for having an easy drink order which set a positive and grateful tone for the meal. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious. We got the sampler appetizer with boneless wings (desert heat), cauliflower wings (spicy garlic), cheese curds and fried pickles. Then we got the beer cheese Philly cheesesteak with tater tot’s. The service was flawless with drink refills arriving right when we needed them AND without us having to ask. Our server was prompt, attentive and genuinely thorough. They even remembered I had a Togo order to place and was ready when I was to place it on time so we would have it ready when we finished! This experience was so good I had to say something to the manager who was happy to hear the praises and offer me a survey card which I was going to ask for anyways! I am happily reporting that not only did we enjoy the food but the service was one to remember! Thank you Bradon!“
