I had not been here for about 15 years. I loved the old Ice Cream Factory vibe. Today I learned that owner retired and though an ice cream shop is still here, it's under a new name and owner. I love the ice cream here. There are lots of homemade flavors to choose from, and they change seasonally. The owner is a sweet lady as well. My favorite flavors so far are lavender and spearmint chip (and I don't even like spearmint!). There is a very detailed list of food allergens posted right at the counter so everyone can choose safely. They always have at least one dairy free option available so everyone can enjoy a treat. Visited from Lexington on Eclipse Day. The line was long, but hoooooo boy was it worth the (not really that long) wait.
