“Very basic restaurant with a smaller menu and rotating special. Tried the Godbey burger and it was cooked well and topped as advertised. Fries were a bit soggy like the oil was to cold but otherwise our meal was fine. Very small restaurant.”

“We love this place! We dined there this evening after spending all day on the road, and what a wonderful place to stop. We were greeted at the door with a handshake. The place was packed and there was live music. The drinks and food came out quickly and were delicious. Our server was so attentive and personable. Thanks for helping us unwind and have an enjoyable meal!”

“This place never disappoints. We are always happy with any dish we order. Tonight I had the shrimp tacos and they were perfectly cooked. We also had the tamales and dessert was great. The flan was cooked perfectly. The first time we discovered La Casita de Mama we were house hunting in Shelby. We ordered pitchers of sangria and bought a house an hour later. We are happy homeowners and glad we also have a taste of home at La Casita de Mama!!!!”

“The Marguritas are superb. The Best I've ever had. Queso with chorizo is absolutely delicious. Large portions. Outside patio is Amazing in the summer with live music on certain days. Wide variety of vegetarian options as well. Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Almost anything can be made vegetarian. They will work with you on the menu for the most part.Dietary restrictions: Great selection. Beans, rice, vegetable quesodilla, salads.Parking: Plenty of parking”

“I’ve ordered the quesabirria twice. Each time the server expressed mild and pleasant surprise that an Anglo would order it. They are delicious and now is my favorite Mexican dish. Look it up on Google, and if it sounds interesting, give it a try.”

“Was driving everywhere to find somewhere to eat. Was gonna eat at our usual spot Bread and Deli in kukui grove (their clam chowder bowls for 8$ is so good) but they were closed (everything closes super early on Kauai aside from all the tourist spots in Kapaa) we settled for this Mexican food truck and it was really good. 18$ is a little steep for me but it is in kapaa and a big portion. The chimichanga was huge and I always love having something fresh to go with it as all the meat beans and rice can be heavy. On top they put lettuce, tomatoes some guacamole cheese and sour cream. The beans on the side were a little bland and the rice is well, rice. The meat was very tender and all in all good. I was surprised that they didn't have horchata, my boyfriend and I always look forward to trying new horchatas from different Mexican eatery's so we were a little bummed out about that. Since Kapaa is a busy road and it's kind of off the main road it's a little hard to find parking. I think there was a parking lot across the street but hard to tell, we just pulled over on the side of the food truck. The server was very nice and their menu was displayed on the side of the truck which I love. I always have to visually see what I'm getting so there's no surprises when I receive the food!”

“My husband and I stopped after our first distillery tour on the bourbon trail. He had a fried catfish meal and I had blackened catfish taco which were delicious. Great seasoned fries and what seemed like house made tartar sauce. The owner was very social and kind as was his daughter who worked there.”

“We went with family that included ages 6 to 80. Everyone had a nice time and found something they could enjoy to eat on the menu! We didn't get any pictures but everything came out as expected and there were no issues even with our larger group. We didn't have to wait a long time for our food to come out either. “went here for a friends 22nd birthday party . there was barley and people there . beautiful location, wine was very failry priced and honestly less expensive than a normal dinner at the local diner nowadays ! lots of cute animals on the property as well . did a round of the wine tasting and bought a bottle and some beer cheese . all of it was delicious ! would highly reccomend”

“We have a tradition every summer of swinging through the drive thru at this Dairy Queen for Blizzards after a long day at the Kentucky Renaissance Faire. Makes for a good treat. Honestly better than the Dairy Queens closer to home. Service is always friendly and the Blizzards are better made.”

“Shame on you Kroger. I am so disgusted after my last visit. My sick daughter and I are waiting at the little clinic and we had to use the restroom. She's still in pull-ups so we have to do the changing table sometimes. We walked over to the bathroom and waited on the gentleman cleaning it to get out. When he was done, we walked in and it was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING !!!! There was feces all on the seat and down the side, no toilet paper or paper towels, mirror and sink were filthy, and I had to clean the diaper table before I even let her go near it. The worst part is, he just got done "cleaning"!!!! So sad. On top of it, the family restroom said "out of order", so I said "what's wrong with it", His response....."just didn't want to clean it". WHAT?!?!?! This store is quickly going downhill.”
