“My mother and I had lunch at the Taylor Mill KFC around 11am Tuesday afternoon and it was one of the best meals I have ever had. I ordered a kids meal, 2 tenders and mashed potatoes with gravy. I also ordered a mountain dew and biscuit. Everything was so so good, even the soda was great. It's hard to go out to eat without something being done wrong but this experience was the best! My mom even remarked her potatoes and mac and cheese were excellent also. Seems like I'm making a big fuss but OMG it was awesome. It made our day ❤️ I loved the little pack of bbq sauce! Was my first time trying it.
The 2 ladies who waited on me and handed me the food were awesome! Kind and respectful. Gave me another bbq sauce!! I don't know their names but was a ray of sunshine since we had just come from visiting the cemetery. Thank you so much ladies! We will definitely be back soon“

“Wed, 2/28/24, Management told one of our trivia team members that she is no longer welcome because she spoke to trivia host and he felt threatened by her. She talked to host after trivia and told him she thought the questions we no longer "general knowledge" trivia. While her remarks may have been harsh, we feel she should have been warned that her behaviour would not be tolerated in the future but not forbidden to return to play trivia. Our trivia team spends 140.00 to 160.00 each Wednesday, not to mention the amount of tips the server was making (30 to 50 dollars). She also told management team that host drinks too much during trivia and they denied that. By the hosts own admission over the microphone, he has asked people to stop sending him drinks because "I'm getting drunk guys". She was told he is allowed 1 alcoholic beverage while doing trivia. WHO HAS EVER HAD A JOB WHERE THEY ARE ALLOWED TO DRINK ALCOHOL?? We will probably NOT be coming back to trivia if all of our team members are not welcome. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR TRIVIA....WHICH I HAD SELECTED ORIGINALLY!!“

“Just did a to go order, I ordered a Black and Blue burger and small fries. After I get home, low and behold NO BLUE CHEESE on my burger. I expect this from a fast food chain but not this restaurant. “When we got there we brought our dog to join us for my Father’s Day lunch and they were so helpful and nice, dog bowl of water right away and got us seated in the patio area. Took our drink order and food order and I can’t understand how that cook got everything out so quick and was so delicious. Mac and cheese bites were good, the sauce made it but the star was the 1788 burger. Hands down the best burger I think I have ever had. Juicy, hot, and fresh. The chips were even seasoned enough but if you get the chips add bbq sauce. Really enhances the flavor. Over all If you are craving an amazing burger and nice place to hang out try this place out.“

“After seeing a few of their drivers around Independence, I decided to try Snappy Tomato and ordered online for delivery. I typically prefer carry-out, but hey, whatever. I chose a medium “Bacon Ranch” thin crust and a medium “Snapperoni” on traditional as variety truly is the spice of life. This was on a Friday night and the pizza arrived within 30-35 minutes, snappy indeed. Things really started looking up when the friendly driver handed me my order and the combined pies had a decent weight to them, in pizza this is always a good sign. Upon initial inspection both pies were hot, had just the right amount of toppings and baked to a perfect golden glow. In fact, for a moment as I simultaneously opened each box I thought I caught the sound of ethereal choir voices harmoniously rising in the background. Without hesitation I grabbed a slice of each and unsurprisingly both were absolutely delicious, tasting just as amazing as they looked. All the toppings were fresh, the cheese chewy and satisfying, and piled upon quality sauce and a perfectly cooked, delicious crust. The taste took me back to the 1980s-90s when, and I’m sorry if you’re too young to have experienced this, our go-to pizza places just tasted better. Rightly so, Snappy Tomato has become my new favorite local pizza place and I will be ordering again. Thanks!“

Also when you dine in, in my experience the chicken comes out so hot it burns your fingers, which in my opinion is a good thing, I don't want chicken that's been under a heat lamp and here I've only ever gotten chicken straight from the fryer to my table in what seems like 60 seconds or less. It’s very hard to find people who will help others.
So, I was at work and my co-worker sister had an issue with her vehicle. She just happened to be at this Papa John”s parking lot. That’s just tip of the iceberg.
So, her car was running hot. She also had a child in the car. My co-worker, was in panic , of course. Not only did she have a child in the car but they had to be to the hospital for a very important appointment.
Y’all, this is how good God is:
My co-worker called this Papa John”s and explained the situation. The car was running hot.
The young man that was working at the time . Went outside and helped.

The moral of the story is not only did the young man help my co-worker sister, but he help the child make it to their appointment, he helped my co-worker and his family by relieving their stress.
God put people in the right places at the right time.
I really appreciate you young man.

“After driving 40 minutes to the Bright location to be told that they were closing early for a party (on a Friday night), we called the Ft. Wright location to verify their hours. “Pizza is great, we love the wings and house made ranch, all around favorite in our house. Sadly I’ve stopped ordering because it keeps getting delivered by door dash and arrives cold. One time the delivery person had a van full of people with my food just sitting on the floor boards. That’s gross. If I could be 100% sure I was getting a jets driver I’d order again but not worth the chance with the price of this place. Nothing against door dash but I don’t order my food from them for a reason, there’s no one to moderate the cleanliness of the car or person.“

“Great food, got 4 pizzas and the staff was very sweet, had my pizzas cooked and served to me in about 25 minutes as a walk in while doing doordash, delivery, dine in, and online orders. Flavors are well balanced, not too greasy, and quality toppings.“

After many months of not ordering here, I gave them another chance because my son really wanted to have Popeyes. I believe things have changed here. I don't know if it's new management or what, but my recent visits have been so much better than before. Friendly workers, quick service, it's like a whole different place. Thank you for improving, and I'm updating my review to reflect this new experience.

06/2025: I very rarely ever leave a negative review but this time I just can't ignore it. We placed an order for drive-thru on the app. Came through the drive-thru and they had us pull forward to the second window to wait. And wait. And wait.

When we noticed cars behind us being served, I went inside thinking that maybe they put my order out to be picked up but there was nothing. The inside wasn't busy. I asked about our order and the employee checked and said it would be another 3 minutes after we'd already been waiting for 20 minutes. It's like they cleared our order before they made it and were starting from scratch.

We went back out to wait and backed up to the first window again to pick up our order. It took another 10 minutes. There's no excuse for a 30 minute wait in a drive-thru. We received no apologies, no acknowledgement, and certainly no refund or discount. Very disappointing.

This isn't the first time we've had slow service here, but it will be the last. I don't think we'll ever be back.“

“Great chicken, great sides, great drinks, and a great staff here at this location! The spicy tenders were hot, thick, crunchy, and juicy. Definitely hit the spot. Potato wedges are my favorite at Lee's. The mac & cheese was decent overall. I love their Monday Family Special for $7.49 - 3 tenders, 2 sides & a biscuit! LFRC is one of the best around this area.
