“The foodstand market and Cafe is AMAZING! we have been here twice and will be returning customers for life! The first time we visited, they were closing early for a party. they could have turned us away, but instead still served us. My 5 year old son was on the wild side that day and employee Lester was absolutely amazing with him! I even accidently left my debt card there after checking out and Lester found me on facebook and sent me a message that i had left my debt card so i could pick it back up! I also bought a bag of their local wheat bread flour, that i am experimenting on trying to figure out a good recipe to use it for. (first time bread maker, so idk what i am doing) If i could change anything, it would be to add a recipe to the bread mix! I also think that they should look into selling fresh dried spices/herbs for seasoning! their food is absolutely amazing! so fresh and so nice knowing that its local meats/veggies. Highly recommend the grilled ham and swish. the peach jam on the sandwich is to die for! make sure you ask for extra jam for dipping! thank you lester for being amazing! you earn Ben as a buddy for life!Kid-friendliness: coloring sheets and they have pencil boxes of crayon for kids instead of give 1-2 crayons like other restaurants. The staff also interacts with the children and treats them to the Childs needs/personality.“
“The main restaurant wasnt open yet. The small bar seated about 20 and was serving food. My son and I stopped by to check it out as a destination for our crew when this summer. Huge covered outdoor seating area. The only downside seems to be a shortage of parking. Especially for motorcycles.“
“Excellent food and brunch... Pomegranate mimosas were fantastic. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good food and drinks without breaking the bank.Parking: It's located next to a Kroger so there's plenty of parking“
“Great place to unwind and enjoy the company and music!!Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly with so many flavors of Hershey ice cream, you can't stop at one!Parking: Plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: Right through the front or side doors“
“Love this local sports grill! We are there so often the staff know us and our orders! It is so welcoming and friendly. The location is well decorated and has many photos of customers over the years. The food is so good and they have a great variety- something for everyone. Soo good. See you again soon!!“
“This restaurant is as simple, down-home, and fun as it gets. Located on US 42 right at the interesection with the road to Big Bone, it's an easy, recognizable, casual, and convenient meeting place. Very spacious and both a table and bar area. Waitresses were Johnny-on-the spot and friendly. The food was generally bar food (what else would it be in a bar? The Maisonette? :) ) Service was quick, food was hot, and the burger is probably their best item. If you have any outstanding warrants, just FYI. You DO have to get used to the siren that briefly goes off when an order is ready in the kitchen. No, they're not coming to get you. LOL~ Prices always seem to enter into every restaurant these days and their prices are really no better or worse that any other comparable restaurant---everything is going up in price. Just deal with it and have fun !!“
“This place has become our dinner out go to. The food is always super fresh and service is by people who actually like what they're doing and treat all of us very well. Highly recommend the Pickins ad a start. The rotating sauces are always good. I think by now we've had just about everything on the menu and nothing dissapoints!“
