When it came to the tasting, he walked participants through each stage of really tasting bourbon, explaining out to identify the different flavors of each blend. “I cannot say enough about the kindness of the staff here. My father had a medical emergency while waiting on dinner and the staff dialed 911 for me within seconds and offered to box up our food because we couldn’t stay to eat it. They also closed the restaurant while the EMT’s were working on Dad. I cannot say enough about the kindness of the employees/ staff. I have eaten there on other occasions too and the food has always been excellent.“

“On vacation with our Aussie- was thrilled to find a truly dog friendly venue with GF options. Food and atmosphere (lunch) was great - but we ordered their GF pizza to go to have later for dinner and OMG!!! I have been GF for 30 years and have been searching for good GF pies all over the US as we travel- and this was by far the very best I’ve ever had. Just incredible. Sad that we only have 1 more day to enjoy Lexington- I might order another to bring home!“

“When you walk into this place you step into a whole new world. The tour was phenomenal. The building and landscape was beautiful. It truly was magical. So informative. At the end of our tour we went into the speakeasy (it was so neat inside!), I dont drink and I was the DD for our group, but I did want to try a small sip of their cocktail. It was a gin that castle and key makes. They mixed it with a hibiscus extract that they make as well. Let me just say it was so light and refreshing! There is a very long wait to get a tour at this place, but if youre able to get a spot booked I highly recommend it!!“

“We enjoyed a fantastic New Year's Eve meal at Heirloom in Midway, KY. The service was superb, atmosphere warm, and the food exceptional, on par with meals we have had in Paris and Rome. The four course meal was perfection. The lobster cappelletti was devine and the Chateaubriand Au Poivre was cooked perfectly and was tender and flavorful. The Dubai Sundae was the prefect ending to such a wonderful meal ! We commend the chef and staff for such a wonderful experience . We will definitely eat here again and highly recommend.“

“We were traveling through from Oklahoma and saw the signs and stopped by. Not only did they have a great wine tasting for me, they had a high end bourbon tasting for my husband-a hidden gem! The lady serving us was so friendly and we also met the owner’s daughter and her dog. Everyone was so welcoming and made for a great experience! Now I am going to have to check to see if they ship!! “I had never been to this place before but we went for Thanksgiving today and it was FANTASTIC! We had a reservation for the 12:30 seating, and were seated and in line for the buffet by 12:45. The front staff seemed pretty stressed but they did a great job. I’m looking forward to going back to try their regular menu.“

“Came here on Christmas with my little family and the customer service was amazing the ladies working we're so nice and sweet to us as we were the first customers. The pizza was amazing and hot and fresh just coming out of the oven.

This is our second time time here and we will definitely be back again.

For 2 buffets and a child's drink it was 33 dollars. It's a great price for a amazing buffet of pizza ,salad and pasta.“

“My husband and I ate here for the first time today but it definitely won't be our last! We had heard good things about the food but were even more pleasantly surprised after we tasted the food! It was DELICIOUS!!! The buffet closed less than 30 minutes after we arrived but the food was still hot and fresh and they brought out a fresh batch of tenderloin and cornbread before we finished eating our meal. If I could give this place more than a 5 star rating, I would definitely do it!! The staff were very friendly and, for dessert, they had brownies with chocolate fudge type sauce on them and they also had an apple cake that was the BEST apple cake I have ever tasted!! I thought I made a good apple cake but I am an amateur baker compared to the lady who made this cake!! My husband said he could have eaten the whole pan of brownies if he hadn't been so full from eating the other delicious food we had. I HIGHLY recommend this place and cant wait to go again!!!“
