“As a fellow restaurant, owner, out of state and many miles away, there is so much that I appreciate about our visit to Solomon‘s Porch. Friendly staff, excellent food, great atmosphere. And we had the opportunity to meet the owners, Tim and Erin, and could see in that short visit time, that their love for their community in which they have immersed themselves, is the driving force behind why they do business there. They live the people in Wilmore, just like we do in our own little café, Downtown D’Lites, in Kilgore, Texas! Our experience with lunch yesterday and then breakfast today, and even meeting my brother Dave, who is also on a road trip from Oklahoma, was a great stop on the way to our New Jersey destination!“

“I’m not usually a complainer, but it’s been a while since I’ve been here, did I miss where they were cutting the size of their patty’s in half?!? Usually a little burger(one patty) is plenty, but today it wasn’t any bigger than a McD’s patty. Definitely not worth the price, today. Hope this was a fluke. 🤨“

“I always love stopping by here whenever I get the chance because the food is just so consistently good. The burgers are always cooked perfectly and taste super fresh, and you absolutely cannot leave without trying the frozen custard, it is the best treat ever. The staff is always really friendly and helpful, and the place is kept clean which makes for a great atmosphere. It is my go to spot when I want something quick but still high quality and delicious.“

“I go to Roosters often; I have great times there, from the good food to the great atmosphere. The wooden booths, quirky signs, and numerous TVs make it a great place for people to relax and have a good time. A good way to pass the time while I’m waiting for my food is to watch a football game or play the occasional trivia they have on sometimes. On my last visit, I came with my friend and boyfriend, and we had a great time eating a variety of food and being served by an excellent waiter who was friendly and efficient. When it comes to our food, Roosters never goes wrong with their curly fries and boneless wings. The wings were perfectly crisp, and the hot sauce is always top tier. The atmosphere is what brings it all together, from groups to families and friends to people just sitting at the bar. It is always cheerful and full of life every time I come here. I would say that Roosters delivers a perfect balance of good food and fun, and it's always a pleasure to go, so I plan to keep coming back many times after.“

“My son and I had an impromptu late lunch today 7/7/2022. It’s been a long time since we’ve experienced service like this that was topped off with awesome food! The medium cooked burger with extra bacon was incredible, cooked to perfection, it was huge! The pulled pork sandwich topped with small onion rings was an unexpected tasty surprise. The French Fry’s were seasoned, served HOT and crisp just like the sandwich’s, I mean, where in Lexington do you get that?! The staff was exceptionally cordial and our food was presented before we had filled our fountain drinks. Out the door just stuffed full for $30, that’s value! My son and I had a quick debate on the way home, monthly or weekly stop 😂 Weekly for the win! Can’t wait to try breakfast!!“

“There was hardly in wait time for a table. Our waitress was kind and ready to wait on us. The food was good. I ordered the BBQ Baby Back Ribs. The only problem I had was the ribs was smothered in the BBQ sauce and I could barely taste the meat. It could've been my fault since I didn't tell the waitress to make my ribs with less BBQ sauce.“
