“After hearing strong recommendations, unfortunately I visited this restaurant at lunchtime on a Friday as I was leaving town for a 400 mile drive. The restaurant was crowded, and I had to wait for about four parties in front of me to order. The cashier was funny and engaging. She assured me that the wait for carryout would be brief. She was wrong. I waited for my order at least 20 minutes, maybe half an hour, and I was definitely in the restaurant for 40 minutes. I had almost finished my matcha iced latte before my food arrived. I was waiting at a small coffee table in the middle of the restaurant. When I stood to leave and was edging out between the loveseat and the table, my foot caught on one leg of the table and I nearly fell. However, my barbecue sandwich was fantastic once I received it.“

“Drinks are good but it really sucks that there is no option to order ahead or order pick up. Sometimes it takes me 20-30 minutes just to get thru the drive thru to get one drink. I wish they were like other coffee places and let you order on the app and had a window you could walk up to, to get your order. But regardless the drinks are good! It just takes too much time to get through there when your trying to get to work, on a break, etc.“

“I have to leave a review after our experience. My little one didn’t want to let go of my cell phone so that the guy taking my order could complete the transaction... I was distracted and a little embarrassed trying to handle everything, as it tends to sometimes go for us.. but Cameron couldn’t have been more professional and genuine. They roast beans in-house, and I was convinced to buy a bag. I can't wait to try my purchase of Beans of Haste! We arrived too late to try the special March Madness doughnuts, so we went with glazed. This is not your basic glazed doughnut. Just amazing flavors and mouth feel! My taste buds were singing! Delightful! North Lime is now on my list of mandatory stops whenever we pass through the area!“

“Old School Coffee is a must-visit spot in Lex! The baristas are so fun and love to chat whenever you visit. This coffee shop is in a beautiful "old school" building that is fun to explore. All of their drinks are school-themed, and they always have a drink of the week that is a must-try! Definitely give this place a try!“
