“We enjoyed the best shrimp poboys and onion rings! The bread they use for the poboys is wonderful! The shrimp were a perfect size, perfectly battered up and perfectly fried. The size of the sandwich was just right as well, and overstuffed the way we like it. The lettuce, tomato, and pickles were fresh and added the perfect touch. As for the thick cut homemade onion rings, those were honestly the best onion rings we have ever had from anywhere. I could make a meal out of their onion rings and I might just do that one day! I must add that we feel the prices are very affordable. Other places in town are charging more for food that isn’t nearly as good.“

“We had the best service yesterday from Austin. He made our visit enjoyable. Also, we all ate something different at our table and enjoyed it all. The honey butter fried chicken special was a hit. My personal favorite is the meatloaf. We also raved over the steak and shrimp. Delicious biscuits & Mac too. We all took five dollar plates home and enjoyed the French toast bake the most. Don’t sleep on it!“

“First time eating here (10/25/2025) and it was absolutely amazing. My stepdaughter and I had Gator bites for the first time... it really does taste like chicken lol. Our server, Stephanie, was just the absolute best. She was kind, quick, and very informative about things to do around the area or where to visit the next time we come. The manager on duty was also amazing. He gave my stepdaughter one of their shirts and it really just made her day so much better 😁. The people, the atmosphere, the food... all of it was wonderful. Highly recommend eating here!“

“I loved the food!! It was indubitably the best meal I have had in a little while. I had my server as Ally!!! Ally was a slay queen!!! She had over five tables, yet she still maintained a positive attitude and a smile on her face every time we saw her. When servers are stressed, they typically don't smile, but she smiled throughout her night, making ours a good one. Specifically for my brother, it was his birthday, and he flew home soon. So it was a relief to know his last Louisiana meal was yummy with a good server. Also, I do not know the name of the other girl, but she had covered the drinks order down, and she was also super sweet. I love the atmosphere where people help out others; it provides a very joyful aura to be around! To conclude, Ally and the other girl were extremely sweet and kind. The staff exuded warmth and kindness, even amidst their stressful moments, making the experience all the more memorable. And the food? Phenomenal—truly a culinary delight you won’t want to miss! “Amazing family-owned and operated business. Doug takes personal pride in preparing steaks every Thursday night on an outdoor grill. His daughter tends the counter at the wine market bent is well-versed in all things related to liquor wine and beer. The prices are very reasonable and they have an amazing selection the wait staff is very attentive and ensure you are well taken care of when you are dining in the restaurant.

“The staff is attentive, they remember your drink even though you haven’t been in a few weeks! The food is off the charts! Burgers, wings, nachos and the best steak night around. They always have great bands playing too. We love just hanging outside during the day, watching the water and boats go by. Drinks are great and nicely priced!“

“These beignets are absolutely delicious! As was the coffee! The beignets were made right after I ordered them. So they were nice and hot. They even gave me a little donut hole for lagniappe! Just really delicious. Lots of people getting to go. But, I ate in. The restaurant is a little warm. Don’t know if that’s because of the cooking. But, that won’t stop me from going back.
