Lava Cantina

My wife and I stopped by here after a doctor visit. It was 1pm on a Friday and the place was empty of customers. We literally had the place to ourselves. Dined here with date, and we were both unimpressed with our entrees (seafood enchiladas). The combination of the seafood and cheese isn't a good idea (it may need something acidic to balance it out). The (free) salsa and chips was the best thing about the meal, and the drinks were strong too. The live performance sounded good and was overall entertaining, so don't come here on a Saturday night if you're looking for quieter experience.

I went for a friends birthday with reservations for a large table. It was a Friday night and delays were expected, but we had to wait more than an hour after being seated to put in our food order. Our server was overwhelmed and hardly around or available. My food, the drinks, and the atmosphere were all good. I think this was an isolated incident with service and I would go back to try it again.
