“Tropical Breeze is not a giant chain hotel. The rooms are basic, but tasteful and spotlessly clean. The manager is one of the best we encountered, arranging everything from airport pickup to tours and visa help. The room was basic (this is a guest house and not, thank heaven, the Holiday Inn), spotless and tastefully decorated, with a very comfortable bed. It was quiet. An open air restaurant and crystal clear pool occupied the courtyard. Food and service top notch. Our favorite restaurant in SE Asia, an organic farm to table, was just around the corner. The Hard Rock Cafe is up at the Roundabout, but far enough away to where we didn’t have to hear the night life Summary : If you want a Holiday Inn, go there. If you want the real deal — at a great price—book a room at Tropical Breeze.“

“Unironically the family was all over the country this Thanksgiving 2025. So we (myself and another) discussed where to go spend our Thanksgiving Day meal. Not only was the food delicious, it was beyond delicious and the food was simply amazing on this Thanksgiving Day. The staff was on FIRE and the cooks, I wanted to hug them, (sent the waitress instead not to slow down the process) and the fried chicken, stop it, just stop. The entire meal was amazing and we are excited as foodies to try the buffet out when it’s a non holiday. On this holiday, thanks Bogalusa Grill for making our holiday dinner AMAZINGLY FUN TO EAT!“
