“Always love coming here for great service and great Pho. Came in at 745 they close at 8pm was going to order to go and the owner told me to sit down and order and stayed open. The owner brought over a menu and sweet tea and the food was great as always. Pho Special and shrimp spring rolls were delicious. Quality food, great Pho and always friendly down home hospitality. Really love supporting this locally owned small business.“

“Chef Hardette Harris created a delicious New Year’s Day family meal that was loved by all! Perfectly packaged with ample portions of incredibly tasty food! The black-eyes peas and cabbage were so comforting and flavorful, but the real star of the show were the pork chops! Holy moly…. Soooooooo yummy, tender and perfectly seasoned! I wanted “new years” foods without the hassle of having to cook, but this decision turned out to be so much more than just convenience, it was perfection! Exceptional food! The family style meal is the way to go! Can’t wait for the next offering for a special occasion, or really any day of the week. You will not be disappointed, in fact, you’ll wonder why it took you so long to find them gem! “Service is always warm and inviting, good ole down home place, it is small so do not plan on dining in. I come for the smoked meats, that chicken and brisket has never let me down. The desserts have always been quite tasty. I usually try different sides on each visit not a bad experience to date.“

The wraps were delicious, the salad was incredible, it was just perfect. I cannot recommend them enough for catering!“

“In town for a wedding and was craving some good Cajun food. I found Sugar Lou's via google. It was a little difficult to find as it was inside an office building but the effort to find it was so worth it. I love asking restaurants their recommendations and seeing what comes out and Sugar Lou's did not disappoint at all. The catfish Po boy with fries was some of the best catfish I have ever had. The greens also are something I'd make another trip to Shreveport for. The young man (Caleb, I hope I spelled his name right) behind the counter was extremely nice, friendly and extremely proud of his work (as he should be). I really have to say this place is a gem and well worth the trip. Keep up the great work Caleb, just slow down and enjoy it when you can. I promise I will be back.“

“The food is good but they always mess up the extra stuff you request and the add-on stuff you ask for and pay for and you get nothing. It’s ridiculous. Can you read a ticket? The people on the phone are unfamiliar with the menu. Ordered tonight. Dissatisfied. Lost money because I didn’t get what I ordered.“
