“Bf has been raving about this place for years about the Shrimp Ducky. My First time and Came alway from Texas. The food was amazing. I am disappointed in the person at the hostess stand. She was a little rude and not hospitable. We had a togo order due to our dog in the car. We don’t know where to go to pick up the order and it left us wandering the restaurant.“

“If you're nearby, especially at the Destrehan Plantation or on the way back to New Orleans from Whitney Plantation, you must stop by and visit Amanda to get a roast beef po'boy! She is so hospitable and the sandwich was just fantastic. She, along with her patrons, are a model for southern hospitality.“

“Ate here for the first time just now. The lady who waited on us was super sweet. We had the crab cakes and pasta. Excellent!! A neat little place! Ended with a malt that was great! I recommend!!“

“My second time at this place. I love the atmosphere. You are greeted when you enter the place and when you are leaving out. The waitresses and management is so nice and polite. The food is amazingly so good. It's hard to get good service but this place is so great at it. Love this place if I could give it 6 stars I would.“

“Absolutely incredible! The staff made us feel like we were family and that we were the most important people in the world. I'm not kidding about that last statement... they were awesome! The Chef, Joe Boudreaux, was extremely personable and truly enjoyed talking about his passion, cooking. The food was fantastic... boudin egg rolls, the spicy fried oyster appetizer, the Montecristo, and the pork belly wedge were all so delicious. My advice is to take a little road trip to St. Rose and eat some of the best food and meet some incredible folks.“

“I stayed here for a night last week, it’s near the airport so it’s very convenient. I went down the bar to get some late night food To-Go, my bartender was super sweet and the restaurant luckily takes Apple Pay! I ordered a burger and fries and it was so good. I wish I got the bartender’s name, he’s an older Caucasian male, so nice you’ll have great service with him!“

“We were directed here by one of the airport staff during a long layover. We were a large group from Florida and were taken care of very well. The gentleman we were told was the owner’s grandson, was working the floor and in spite of being short handed did a great job accommodating us. I had the fish and grits. The food was delicious. Everyone stated that their food was great. Shrimp and grits, jambalaya, fried chicken, sandwich, every meal was seasoned and cooked with perfection. I look forward to visiting again.“
