“Had a fine lunch with a great waitress! The white cheese dip is superior to other Mexican Restaurants in our area. An outstanding chips, bean dip, and salsa were served along the best taco salad (beef) with fresh chopped lettuce! Truly a delicious experience!“

“My vegetarian son and I came in on an LSU game day. Due to that, there was a limited menu of tacos, none of which were vegetarian. But I asked an employee, Maddie, who turned out to be the manager, if there was anything that could be done. She checked with the kitchen and my son was able to get a fried avocado taco along with a bean and cheese one. These tortillas were classified as corn, but I can tell you, they were next level, as they were not gritty or grainy like regular corn tortillas.

Freshly cooked, which resulted in a world, wind of textures. Crispy, tender tortillas, gooey melted cheese, tender beef, fresh onions, and parsley.

The salsa Verde was excellent, perfectly seasoned mild fresh tasting.

The consumé was excellent wonderful flavor.

I ate at the picnic style tables out front.

Jarritos drink selections. The owner came out herself and asked if everything was OK, which it was. She was very personable and a hard worker.

“I went into Izzos on Burbank to pick up a large order for myself and coworkers. The people inside were pleasant and welcoming. I fixed all the drinks and brought them to my car, when I went to go back in to grab the food, one of the gentlemen working there was standing behind me at my car with my order! Besides the helpfulness, the entire order was all there and correct! We order from restaurants frequently and have an issue with correctness, so we really appreciate the order being fulfilled correctly!! “Took the baby for his first sit down meal and he was so good. Son had the Brisket Fajitas and I had a combination plate. The fajitas were excellent, tender meat. The enchilada, tamale and soft taco was a great combo of chicken and beef and delicious. Started my Grand with fries but he ate most of my rice and beans, he num num after every bite. We all give Cabos a 5 star ⭐️“

Vegetarian options: the mushrooms are so good, I love them. I always get them even when I get a meat protein.

Kid-friendliness: They were very patient with my autistic child. I appreciated that even though he is non-verbal they asked about the choices he wanted directly to him even though I was "translating".“

“Been twice. First time was by luck on Friday night of LSU-Ole Miss game weekend when we couldn't find a table for 8-people anywhere else. We sat outside and had great food, great margaritas, great service and a really nice time. Second time we made reservations, just two couples. Sat inside and had same great experience. Hope they are able to make it in the challenging restaurant business. Really nice people with an authentic Mexican restaurnt and good food.“
