“Looked for a sit down crawfish boiler between Ville Platte and Lafayette that was boiling for lunch on a Saturday. Cankton Cafe was one of the few sit down places open and boiling. The place was easy to find with plenty of parking. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the crawfish seasoning and quality was above average. Definitely a small town restaurant worth taking a detour for.“

“They have good plate lunches and boudin as well . Unfortunately today I tried to use a gift card and it wouldn’t work so I wouldn’t buy a gift card just go with cash or credit card.“

“Double cheeseburger was very good! Patties were nicely seasoned and they cooked it medium rare for me which I asked for and appreciated. Fries were just Ok, but I’m not a big fry guy. If they put cheese on the fries that probably would be tastier. $17 for a double cheeseburger is a bit pricey, but apparently that’s the norm round here.“

“Indoors was full so we chose to eat outside rather than leave and I’m so glad we did! We had our daughter so they even offered to bring an additional fan to point towards her. They were very attentive and kind the entire time. We ordered an appetizer and our two entrées and everything was GREAT! Bonus points everyone eating there just like us were just the sweetest as they were passing us walking in and out of the restaurant! And no I don’t think that was coincidence or luck, that Park Bistro and its service just attracts those type of people! Most definitely will be back and will recommend to others!“

“Such a different place these days. An absolute 180 since Berry owned this place. I haven't been to Artmosphere in years because of it, but I can honestly say that the whole place now is a vibe. The new owner is obviously putting his entire heart and soul to not only the establishment but also to customer service and concern.

“We took on Shakebacks after a fun night out. Open from dusk until dawn! My friends got fries, they were FIRE! I got a burrito, it wasn’t my favorite, so I shared it and got some fries in return. It was over the counter service, the girl helping us was super friendly and informative. It was a bit of a weird atmosphere and a bit humid inside. But overall good experience.“

Food and menu had both salty and sweet options, I tried one of their waffles which was very tasty and crispy. My brother tried one of their breakfast sandwiches which was also absolutely delicious.
