“My coworker and I went in around 1:00 pm. No one was there as we walked in. The cashier was watching television. It was our first time eating since we live out this area the cashier was not very friendly. She appeared to be aggravated because I was taking a minute to look over the menu. I asked her what’s the difference between the ribeye po boy and Jake’s ribeye po boy and she told me the “it’s the same thing”. I should have left because it made me wonder why she was being so rude to the point we checked our food to see if something looked off. It was good food and many ppl kept telling us to try it I just don’t appreciate the cashiers attitude for whatever reason. I also saw they said portions are smaller. The ribeye did have a huge chunk of fat on one side but I felt it was a good deal and I got the 1/2 fried alligator which was good and decent as well.“

“Our waitress was wonderful. She was so personable and made sure to check on us regularly.
The gumbo was good and full of seafood. The chicken fried steak was very good! The raging shrimp poboy was nice.
They do have college football playing, which is nice to enjoy while eating.“

“This place!!!! I have a true love and appreciation for great food and this spot is my absolute favorite!! I spent 3 days in Marksville LA on a work trip and had to try so many dishes at this place and each one just kept getting more delicious.
The Krab nachos, the pub tots, the truffle fries, the spinach dip, and the best burger I have ever had in my life (Brown Bag Burger) and the absolute best chicken dish I have EVER had (Potato crusted Chicken with sweet potato mash). The people are so kind and the service is fantastic. I will always be stopping by this place when I am in town again. Absolutely incredible!!!“

“I had not been to Kyrles in 18 years, as the quality and gone down so much and the prices weren’t reasonable. However, last night, my wife and I went there for dinner and it was 100% across the board. Our server was great, the food was excellent and plentiful, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing (thumbs up on the remodel, btw).
I’d happily recommend Kyrles to anyone who asks, and look forward to returning soon.“
