“Louisiana Crawfish - for those familiar with this delicate freshwater crustacean there's nothing that compares, these Louisiana farm raised crawfish are the absolute best in class. Breaux Bridge is in the heart of Cajun Country a.k.a. "The Crawfish Capital of the World" and folks around here know their crawfish and they never settle for anything less than the freshest crawfish available with the highest of quality. I often buy these frozen crawfish tails packed in their own fat when traveling through or from Louisiana - these delicious mudbugs usually end up in a black pot of Étouffée or Jambalaya long after the season is over served over white rice or pasta but I've also been known to fry or sauté them and create a delicious crawfish po-boy on a crusty loaf of french bread. There are a number of farmers and processors around the state that provide a high quality product and believe me these guys are at the top of that list. I was raised on these crustaceans so the recipes are forever stored in my brain, but for the novice there are recipes printed on the packaging and the internet can provide an unlimited number of options as well. If you think the price is a little steep here's a factoid for you based on a 15% yield it takes between 6-7 pounds of live crawfish to equal approximately 1 lb. of tail meat now dats a real bargain...“

“Great place to grab lunch, The food was very tasty and different. It wasn't like every other restaurant you see nowadays. The view is stunning, but the service could step up their game. When you're more worried about picking up the check from an empty table then refilling the customer drink. All and all this place is worth coming back to.“

“My husband ordered the pork roast, rice, gravy, green beans, and potato salad plate lunch, and I ordered the chuck steak, rice, gravy, green beans, and tomato cucumber salad plate lunch. Both lunches had a roll. Very delicious! Food was just cooked and served hot. This business is take-out, but we were allowed to park under a tree by the drive way to eat our lunches. The place is clean looking. The employee is nice. Also other foods were available to order.“

“Hands down the juiciest, most perfected crawfish around. Consistently amazing crawfish and somehow the most amazing corn and potatoes for sides. Served in tidy, leakproof packaging- these guys have got it figured out. You might see a line up to the serving window but rest assured it's worth any wait. Good service and smiling faces. I can't get enough“

“If YOU want the freshest, fullest, largest, most delicious, best LIVE & BOILED seafood in or around the Lafayette, La area---You MUST check out KIP'S!! My family and I have purchased boiled and live seafood from all over the area trying to find the perfect place that not only consistently offers the quality, quantity, and size we are looking for, but at a reasonable cost and honest customer service. Once we discovered KIP'S Cajun Seafood, referred to us by a friend, we were hooked. For almost 2 years now during the crawfish and crab seasons we have ordered just about every other weekend some of the best LIVE seafood both my fiance and I have ever had the opportunity to enjoy. The food itself definitely deserves 5 stars and more... but if there were an option on here to rate customer service and satisfaction, KIP deserves just as many stars if not more than his seafood. Afterall, he is the reason why we don't have to look anywhere else if we want some huge crawfish or full Jumbo crabs!!!“

“I had not eaten crawfish in about 4 years so I went pick some up. The mild crawfish were very tasteful but the shells were so hard to peel. I had to throw some away bc my fingers were so raw from trying to peel them. They were the dark red shells. I like the lighter red shells bc they are so much easier to peel. I did not enjoy them as much as I had hoped bc I dreaded to peel the next one but they tasted great.“
