“Went to James Restaurant in denham springs la. In hopes to get good food. I was saddened because I paid 17 dollars for a 1/2 cup of old red beans that were not cooked and no flavor.They put a small piece of sausage on the top with a 1/3 of rice. I also got a very small portion of nasty cabbage and a small portion of box mashed patatoes. I could have went to longhorn steakhouse and got a nice steak meal for less and a whole lot better food. I can bet the cost of the food I got was about 2 dollars worth!“

“I don’t know if anyone reads anything from this site but I wanted to post a rave for the Baton Rouge location. My mom was transferred into hospice care on the day I ate at your restaurant. It was a horrible day until the nicest server/waitress I have ever had sat us down. She couldn’t have known what we were going through or how much she brightened our day. She was pregnant, I know that. Otherwise I don’t remember her name. One of those days I guess. She just had this light about her and when she smiled Everything seemed a little better. I think God put her there at that moment. Hopefully she will be there the next time we go. But if not I was posting this to tell her thankyou for being you. And good luck with your pregnancy. “I would highly recommend Bullfish Bar & Kitchen! We had the beef oxtail with white rice and cabbage. It was delicious. Very well seasoned. Our service was great. The owner even came check on us to see how was our experience. I will definitely be going again.“
