“What an experience!
We met with some friends for the Omakase menu and it was well worth the cost. With this, you get 12 or 15 different sashimi options. Each were so delectable and tasted Ike the best quality. They presented about 3 of the 12 at a time so you were not overloaded with a big platter. Highly recommend if you like the raw type. Our server was fantastic and knew every single item that was placed on the table. Cocktails were so good as well and I recommend their off menu rum drink. Decor inside is cozy and modern but very inviting. Don’t sleep on the apps as well and you MUST get the Brussels! We will be back very soon!

P.S. catch happy hour for specials on Brussels and you better get the crispy rice trio!“

“Must go. Amazingly fresh and so so delicious. We’ve had omakase all over the world and these are some takes on nigiri that I’ve never tasted before (hard to do!). Wonderful combo of super fresh fish flown in from Japan and local seafood. Can’t recommend more highly- it’s charming and authentic and a great value to boot. “I love that it is a small, quiet spot where you can either grab and go or enjoy there. I went because they have a sushi buffet and the price is very reasonable. Many of the sushi rolls tasted similar but I think I ordered ones with similar ingredients lol. I would suggest small groups because the restaurant is limited on space.“

“Chef Trevor is the kindest! The sushi is Amazing! I recently visited The restaurant for dinner after a long day of school my grandkids. And work myself. We were told by the hostess that there was an hour wait and that there was barely anywhere to sit so she advises that we could sit at the bar which we did the sushi bar that is. After waiting for some time Chef Trevor noticed that we were not being really engaged. He then asked me if the kids and I would like something to drink so what you said yes the hostess one of the waiters chef Trevor’s prompting, served us drinks as well as kept our cups filled Thank you! we were very grateful for the kindness that was bestowed upon us. The Hostess. After advising of the long wait, didn’t offer a drink of water nothing. Never engaged, never updated nothing. It was busy so I didn’t panic. We just waited. “SO happy to have the outstanding sushi place in my neighborhood now. We've only gotten takeout a few times thus far but have thoroughly enjoyed everything. The seafood salad I had last night was absolute perfection, and we've settled on the caterpillar roll being our collective fave.
I love that even the regular rolls feel special though and if course that it's all fresh as can be. Can't wait to go back and hope to get to be a regular for a long time.

“So technically wasn't aiming to come here, but my navigator got confused(again). This is the second time I've ended up at a sushi restaurant that was not where we originally agreed upon. As long as it's good I'm always down for sushi though. They are more of a modern style sushi, with mostly specialty rolls to fit every appetite. I like how you can get half orders of some of their specialty rolls which we took advantage of. I know there was a kush and a bobby roll, a Ryan roll(?) and can't remember the last one, plus seaweed salad and salmon skin roll. Everything was excellent, especially the kush and bobby rolls. I can't believe I somehow ended up with mostly soy wrap rolls but I did. Even being a traditionalist to the point of snobbish, I was really wowed by these. My salmon skin was excellent too. The Sapporo was ice cold, almost slushy. So good on a secretly hot day in October. BUT being the sushi snob that I am, I have to admonish them for no mackerel. If you can't feed my saba addiction, you won't get my undying love and admiration.

“This is my go-to spot for sushi in the city. While there are several more premium options for sushi, they come with premium price tags. None of them hold a candle to Origami in terms of value. The menu here is extensive, so it will be easy to find something for everyone in your party. The rolls are pretty standard, but all are good. Their nigiri in particular stands out for being excellent yet being almost half the price of some of the other more hyped sushi locations in the city. Their cocktails are great as well.“

It's located in the "Jax Brewery" .Single employee working and just has the service of any food court.Rolls are $8-$15. Cheapest roll I could find was $7.99.Poke bowls are $12 and there are just a handful of options.I read there was a lunch special, that is not true. Or at least I couldn't find it anywhere, and the employee said the prices are the same all day.I got the grill fish for $7.99Bourbon street for $8.50And Rainbow roll for $11.99Plenty of seating and no line when I was there. (Tuesday at 2pm) Food took about 15 minutes.I did not see a wheel chair/stroller friendly entrance anywhere.Rolls were a little sloppy, not tight.
