“My son treated me and my daughter to dinner. I picked Our Moms because I've always had a great experience when going. But this night the food was just ok. Everything was very salty, my caesar salad was dry and the chicken was salty and kinda greasy. Our waitress and the atmosphere was nice per usual. However the food wasn't it's best.“
“Stopped in here to have dinner with a few friends. Ordered the buffalo chicken grilled cheese - it was fine but I would pass on it next time. Bread was toasted just right and buttery, but I think using the boneless wings in it instead of a chicken breast filet (like most other chicken sandwiches) allows it to fall short. My girlfriend had the backyard dog. I tasted the chili from it and it was very good. She enjoyed her meal. The fries were great as well. Thin, crispy, and salted. Some friends got the wings and raved about them. They looked to be very nice in size and cooked / sauced right. Service was iffy at times. Minor annoyances like forgetting to submit an appetizer, confusion getting another beer, and struggling to have ketchup brought to the table. It was a busy night and ultimately wasn't detrimental - but hopefully a little smoother if we stop in again. $35 for two meals, three beers, and a tip in these times? That's worth trying at least once. Also, I'd recommend darker shades on the upper part of the west facing windows. The sun is absolutely brutal. Forgive us for using a menu to block it temporarily ? If you are near Independence, stop and check it out.“
“Great little place just 1/2 mile from downtown. Nice shady area with picnic tables to enjoy your snowball. They used the shaved ice from the block here, not crushed ice like you get in some places. (If you know, you know) They give ample syrup too. Very friendly girls working there. A+++.“
“I didn't eat. Nice ride by vehicle, motorcycle, or boat if you want to get away to have a cold drink (your choice), listen to music, have a bite to eat, watch the boaters, skiers, jet skiers, party barges, etc...watch the river flow. Go pass a time ?“

“We had such a great time! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the food (we had cheeseburgers) were amazing, and they are dog friendly! My pups had a blast and were so happy to be there (water bowl and treats provided by staff as well). Can’t beat the prices, environment and people. We will definitely be back!“
