“We stopped in because bbq sounded good. Best decision ever! Chef Roger and Jacob were so personable and great! My wife had some food allergies. All her questions were answered and they figured out what she could eat. I ordered the brisket platter and everything was amazing! “All I can say is WOW!!!!!!!! Hands down one of if not the best BBQ place I have ate at. I got the lg rib plate with the add on chicken wings and my husband got the 1/2 chicken and we shared to try it all and man when I say it was amazing it was amazing. The sweet potato casserole was so good. The green beans where just alright but the corn, macaroni and cheese and the baked beans were really and did I say really good. Thanks for not disappointing us we drove two hours to get there and will 100% be back sooner rather than later.“
“I have been going to Westwego from Northeast LA for the last 4/5 years. Penny that works at Amy's pretty much took my order a couple days ahead and had me almost ready when I arrived. My timing was the only reason it was all ready. Definitely wanted it as fresh as possible. Will be going back next year if blood still running through my veins.“

“Amazing store! Matthew was able to guide us towards the best champagne selection for our celebration and for a gift for our friends birthday. They also do delivery so during our stay we can actually get order it directly to our hotel room! Amazing customer service! I highly recommend.“

“Shane’s catered our event and it was a hit! Great tasting food and definitely get your bang for your buck! Fresh and tasty and loved by all. The staff could not be more friendly and are appreciative of your business. Will definitely continue to stop in for a meal and use them in the future for any catered events. Go check them out!“

“Pulled pork and jerk bbq sauce were delicious. The jerk bbq sauce is the best I’ve ever eaten (so far). Customer service is lacking, my takeout order wasn’t received and they didn’t want to fulfill the order. I wouldn’t recommend this location based upon the customer service but I do recommend the jerk bbq sauce.“

“0n a recommendation from our small haunted hotel we hit MRB for lunch. The catfish po boy was outstanding. Their drink specials were just right and reasonably priced. Two days later, we went back to try the alligator sandwich and some charbroiled oysters also spot Definitely would not call this a tourist trap. It’s like most of Nola, funky, functional and fun. “We had a meeting scheduled at work this afternoon and no one ordered lunch. I called Lisa Tanet at We All Asked For You Catering BBQ & Specialty Foods at 9:30. By 11:40, we had enough brisket, pork, turkey and pastrami sandwiches, with sides and desserts, for at least 30 people! Highly recommend!! She’s next to the Kamp Bar and her food is always delicious.“

“First off all our server Lloyd went above and beyond to accommodate us. We had an issue with a steak being under cooked and then coming back being over cooked. Unfortunately ordering a steak medium well is a task that has to be done just right or what happened last night takes place. The manager Jaime also understood the situation and did everything right to rectify the it. It’s rare these days that you find a waiter/manager combination that knows how to handle a difficult situation and make things right. Thank you.“
