“Idk what the other reviews are talking about. First airport shake shack that hasn't price gouged, fed 3 people for less than it cost to feed 2 at the Indianapolis airport. Cashier was polite and clear on what I ordered and food came fast.“

“Everyone has heard the phrase… “Do not judge a book by its cover. Well, I almost did. When you go to Tavern on Vets, the outside makes you a little skeptical. Windows blacked out, not sure which door to use. You walk in and it is kind of dark. But, then you sit down. You then see, etched in the mirror, “A Loser Friendly Atmosphere”. I could not help but laugh. The service was fantastic. The bartender was friendly like someone you knew your whole life. The food, oh man the food. For a small bar kitchen, the food was cooked with such flavor and presentation. Now, there was one small error made on my wife’s wrap but it was quickly taken care of without complaint. We are only here for the week, we just might go back and read that book again.“

“Order food but was told after sitting for over 30 minutes that it got lost in the kitchen...smh...asked for my check and told them forget. The manager came over and was very nice. He fixed the issue and we received our food in a timely matter. The person waiting on us was new and the manager took full responsibility. The waiter was nice, but I could tell he was new. After that I provided grace to the new employee and still gave him a decent tip. Thanks

“Food was great but I only ordered fries and boudin egg rolls. The egg rolls were bussin!! The fries taste like they are air fried instead of dipped in hot cooking oil. Elaine was the bartender and she was very nice & polite!! She was pretty much holding it down by herself behind the bar so I expected somewhat of a wait but there really wasn’t much of a wait. I’d eat here again, and keep avoiding the burgers all the other reviews talked about.“
