“Had dinner here tonight and it was all delicious! We haven’t ate here in several years but we will be back soon. Soup and salad was delicious, love the jalapeño ranch dressing. Roast beef poboy was sloppy good and the shrimp stuffed potato was a winner too! Christy was the sweetest waitress who tended to all our needs.“

I ordered the gumbo with shrimp, and it was absolutely fantastic—rich, flavorful, and seriously, I wiped the bowl clean. It was the definition of yummy!
Beyond the incredible food, the service was outstanding. I arrived right before closing, and they still welcomed Me warmly.... That level of kindness and accommodation is what sets a great restaurant apart.

“I have been eating at Fatty's for 20 years. I have never had a bad meal. It is a small mom and pop with a big heart. Come with a empty belly because you will have plenty to fill it. They have a daily special plate and a consistent menu. One of my favorite goto spot when im in the area.“

“If you're nearby, especially at the Destrehan Plantation or on the way back to New Orleans from Whitney Plantation, you must stop by and visit Amanda to get a roast beef po'boy! She is so hospitable and the sandwich was just fantastic. She, along with her patrons, are a model for southern hospitality.“
