“We stopped by here for some BBQ on our drive home from the Outer Banks. It was worth the few miles out of our way to try this place.My wife had the Bangin BBQ platter and I had the beef BBQ platter. Both had an excellent smoked flavor and various sauces paired well for each plate. Tender and juicy. The sides we had were the cole slaw, sweet potato and mac and cheese. You cannot go wrong with any of those.The service was friendly and fast. We sat out on their small deck and enjoyed our lunches.This was the perfect stop for lunch to break up a long drive.“

“There are a group of friends that go every Thursday at 5pm. The ladies bring several homemade sheet cakes and share them with all the diners! Just beautiful!!And they have lavatories outside the bathroom to wash up after your boiled seafood. Such a convenience!!!Parking: Plenty parking I had no problem“

I had them put mine on a salad with their house dressing. Then I get the Cajun Tart custard pie on my way home from Cajun Pecan House…. My Lord. Nothing in the world could come close. If Heaven were a food, you would find it here.“
“Sunday evening, I had an excellent experience. First the place is open, friendly and very clean. From the minute I walked in the door to the moment I left everyone was super friendly, very professional, and happy to help. The food was great quality and very tasty. Perfectly cooked and fresh! The atmosphere was open and inviting and even had a couple chats with other patrons. What a great place to go hang out a bit, have a real quality bite to eat, and have fun all the while. “Everyone knows this is one of the best local joints to go! They have so many good options to choose from...pictured here is the burger and fries I decided to go with. The burger was perfect, not a single complaint about that! The fries were fried a little too long and no salt at all but still enjoyable. My brothers shrimp on his poboy were also fried too long, I'm sure this isn't all the time though..hope not anyway. This is definitely a great choice for any out of towners passing thru, and any lazy afternoon when locals don't want to cook. They also have a little bit of seating indoors. Paid $29 for my burger combo and a shrimp poboy combo so guess the pricing isn't an issue“
