“Went here for lunch and met a friend from out of state. Had not been there for years. Still has a friendly staff who treat you like family. Superb food at a fair price. These folks have been giving great service for 75 years. This establishment is off the beaten path but a gem 💎 to eat at. Daily specials of hot lunch are worth the trip.”

“Bought two sacks for Easter Sunday. First the sacks were over 40 lbs each which not something you find with other places. Next the size of these mini lobsters were huge. Lastly they were the cleanest I have ever gotten or seen. Will be doing business with Johnny’s again.”

“My granddaughter bought me there one Sunday night,it was packed so there was know where for me to sit and I am handicap so we got some food and we left but this lady can’t out and ask was we looking for somewhere to sit I said yes,she told us to wait she made a call and then we were seated,we had wonderful time and the food was delicious. I found out the lady name was Mrs.Helen-Boss Lady”

“Usually I left a 5 star review before I think but I ordered few times Caramel milk tea ugh ok! and few days ago last week he was making my drink and somehow a long black thin hair flown inside my drink and he didn’t see it in the drink that had black hair in it to resolve it that was in the bubble shop and totally wasn’t my hair because I had fully bleached blonde silver hair.I had turned my drink around when I realized it was black hair was still in there when I got and sat home afterwards.Oh well I hope next time they can see better and try to avoid anything that shouldn’t be in my drink.I’m not asking for free drink but to resolve it.This wasn’t my first trip so I’ve been here many times.But not often.”

“Everything thing from ice cream, snowballs and their food items are delicious. I have never eaten anything from them that I did not like. My favorites are their homemade hot sausage, club sandwiches, fried fish, and chef salads along with their delicious banana splits! I also appreciate their great customer service!”

“This place has been around for a few years but I went back last night for a girls night and let me tell you they were amazing . I noticed that they changed the way they plated the food and added a few touches like grilled pineapple & an edible flower . I don’t remember the guys name who served us but it was his first day and he was perfect ! He got all of our orders correct , made all 12 of us our special alcoholic beverages in a timely manner . He was very sweet & friendly . The vibe was perfect ! 10/10 🥰”

“On our first visit in Marrero, Jasmine was our waitress. My husband has to have limitations with his food choices. No problem, Jasmine helped with suggestions and the cook prepared it perfectly. Now on my 2nd visit, Jasmine not only remembered me but asked where was my husband. She not only remembered us but what we ate. As I dined alone, she went out of her way to make me feel comfortable! And then as I placed a take-out order for my husband, she had suggestions due to his salt restrictions in his diet. What a memory! In my life, I have NEVER met anyone with such a remarkable memory - and she is so kind and helpful. We will be regulars now. Jasmine - here we come. Thank you for helping us so much!!! And thank you Olive Branch for brightening up the Westbank ❤️”

“I forgot about this place, but now I'm back. Grabbed the Wednesday special, which was pretty good, I asked the waitress if it was white or dark meat. She informed me it was white, she was wrong. My mechanic scored from that. We did go back Thursday, I got the hotdog on french with homemade chili. Food is good, and the seasoning was good. We will be regulars!”

“Had lunch today at Hina Hut. Had the Mongolian Beef and a Shrimp Roll. The Mongolian Beef was very flavorful. The service was great. Last but not least the ice tea was very good.”

“Work across the street and grab a sandwich maybe twice a month and sometimes will run across the street for a quick cup of water. They are always kind and know how to make a sandwich. Clean, fast, and friendly. There’s two ladies who work there if you see one of em when you go in, game over 10/10 sandwich”

“The food is consistently good. I been coming here for years and it never disappoints. It’s gotta be a family business because that’s the vibe you get in there. I love the sesame chicken and their shrimp and broccoli and don’t forget to add a shrimp egg roll. If someone has had a bad expirience I can almost promise you it’s the exception.
