“The best neighborhood bar I’ve ever been to, it’s a great community, everyone is very welcoming. A lot of neighborhood spots you walk in and it’s like the record skips and everyone turns around. Not Pete’s! Speaking of records they have a vintage jukebox with great broad selection. It’s old school, nobody paying extra to skip ahead of you, no one playing the same Drake song on repeat. Drinks are very affordable with a modest but well rounded selection. They have pop ups most days it seems so if your hungry there’s usually a food option. Word to the wise if it seems locked it’s just cause you gotta get buzzed in. Be patient, it’s worth it!“
“Wonderful vibe and music. Live music and karaoke/haircut night is the best. The owner and bartenders are genuine and committed to the community, and this is my favorite neighborhood bar. “Went to this spot randomly while visiting NOLA. Place is sick with cheap drinks and cool atmosphere. I don't recall there being any food but I did go after dinner so wasn't looking for any. Staff was approachable and friendly. It feels like a bunch of spots we have back in Ybor back in Tampa. I would definitely come back here next time I visit!“
“Have been a Chart Room patron for many years. It's pretty much a plain ol' bar with great juke box and veteran bartenders serving typically strong and inexpensive drinks. About half locals, half out-of-town visitors, most of the out-of-towners being frequent NOLA visitors. At one time I suspected that a few of the regular characters were sent over by Central Casting, but have been going there long enough to now know they're genuine. A recent ownership change, but based on my last visit, no discernible (to me) change.“
“Love Snake's!! Juan (the bartender) is amazing and attentive. I always have a good time and enjoy my Paradise Parks best when they come from Snake's. Fantastic live music on Friday nights from 8-10.Dog friendly (make sure to say hi to Arlo and Peeves!), and they have a great patio for when it gets busy indoors. You have patient because there's usually only one bartender at a time, even when it's busy, and they're handling tons of orders per customer. Even still, the bartenders rock!I've never had an issue here and always feel extremely safe, even when I come alone. Absolutely a must-visit!“

I came here to celebrate my birthday with a large group of friends after having an horrible experience across the street and they were able to accommodate us with room and allowed us to bring in my birthday cake. Everyone was happy. The plus was there were pool table in the room we were in. I’d highly recommend this bar to have a few drinks and chill.“
“A very nice escape from the Bourbon St madness. This place somehow manages to be a dive bar, and trendy at the same time. It's a friendly, intimate environment, with comfortable lounge furniture tucked away in a few corners, and a beautiful courtyard out back. I know a few other reviews mention the bathrooms, and they are certainly quirky; however, for me it was in more of a made you smile type way. They were extremely dark, only lighted by a pink neon sign. There is no mirror, so don't go in expected to tidy up your appearance. I have to assume these were conscious decisions made by whoever designed/decorated the place. What better way to say we don't care what you look like, and neither should you than to give customers no mirror or light to check their appearance in. There isn't much signage out front, so it'd be easy to miss when the doors are close. They just have a small hanging sign that says something along the lines of "last stop before the tourist traps" which I found to be both clever and true. I wouldn't say the drinks are cheap, but the quality is excellent and they are relatively affordable for what you'd be asked to pay at most any other bar near Bourbon. The bartender was extremely nice, and the drinks were finished quickly. I didn't get to spend nearly as much time here as I would have liked because we had a busy afternoon ahead, but High Grace will certainly top the lists of bars I stop off in next time I'm near the French Quarter.“

“This is not fancy, this is an epically perfect dive bar. We headed here in NOLA to watch MSU game for the tournament. There were plenty of TVs, comfortable seating, and we sat right at the bar. Bartender was attentive, knowledgeable, and hilarious. Also the drinks are NOT weak! The food was totally perfect, definitely recommend the pizza and the potato skins. We did a lot while in New Orleans but this was one of our fav experiences.“

“I was just at Okay Bar for a Persian New Year event and had the best time!! For a Tuesday night at any bar, I wasn't sure what to expect. As soon as I got there, it was music and good vibes flowing out the doors! I had a drink within minutes and into the vibrant crowd I went dancing haha. An amazing Persian food pop-up guest starring for the night called Baba Joon! Apparently they hadn't popped up since last Summer, so the people really came to support! Wasn't sure I'd get to try it with how popular they looked but they moved through the line quickly and I got to try a few dishes! Really glad I made it over to Okay Bar! More than okay with me! :)“

“Is a great neighborhood/dive bar. Like most neighborhood bars, it can also tend to be cliquey, but as stated before, it's also a laid-back divey bar. Most people still have zero reservation about chatting it up with a friendly or interesting face. “Definitely one of my favorites in the neighborhood, Lydia and Denise always make me feel like I'm at home. Everyone here just seems to want to have fun and throw back a few drinks after work. Cash only doesn't bother me but some people prefer cards and they have an ATM inside so you don't have to go anywhere if you forgot your bills at home. The ceiling has some pretty cool decorations too! I swear I see something new everytime I go“
“If you're into a dive bar vibe, this is the place for you. It actually has a coin operated laundromat in the bar and the bartender will give you a cup of soap. My GF and I did a load of wash and enjoyed some shots and cocktails while we waited. We went there three times in our ten day visit to NOLA simply just to chill and have some cheap drinks.“

“Nice little place tucked away in Old Arabi, right across the street from the Mississippi river. Go catch some live music then walk up the levee across the street and watch a few boats pass by while taking in some fresh air. You won't find "Old Arabi" on the map, its just Arabi but this section was the first section settled.“
“Loved this bar so much! Super laid back queer bar. My friend and I went there to grab a quick drink. The bartender was friendly and helpful. The vibe felt very inclusive of different LGBTQIA+ people, and they were playing some great movies. I also think there's a backyard? (It was too cold so we didn't venture out). “Friends told me about this place so I stopped by for lunch. Background: The name comes from the fact this area was once the location of pig farms. The owners have a second place in Mid City that another guest at Hog's Alley told me has great food, too. The menu is sort of small but very diverse. I had the fried shrimp basket and I'm a bit of a snob on fried shrimp. These were delicious. Excellent batter, tasty, and no iodine flavor at all. The jalapeno hush puppies were equally excellent. Fries were good but I can do without fries. Jaimie the bartender/server was friendly and very helpful. Not many people at 1 on Sunday but that didn't bother me. I'll go back.“
