“We were greeted pleasantly and seated quickly. Our waitress’s name was MaKayla and she was phenomenal! She was very knowledgeable and helpful with wine selections and tasting. We loved that it was Vino Thursday so we ordered a bottle (half price). We started off with the roasted Brussels sprouts appetizer and it was delicious. I’m not usually a Brussels sprout person but these were so good! I’d definitely order them again. My husband got the Marsala. He was very pleased as this is a favorite dish of his. I tend to be very, very picky about Alfredo but this was one of the best I’ve tasted. It was rich and creamy with just the right taste! The panéed chicken was tender, almost melt in your mouth, and very flavorful. The wine MaKayla suggested paired beautifully with both our entrees. To end the evening we ordered the tiramisu. It was heaven! I love tiramisu and was not disappointed. The restaurant is clean and had a very comfortable feel to it. I loved the light blue colors. It felt relaxing and inviting. Overall 5 stars!!!“

“Our Easter dinner was extremely special. We shared a chopped salad which was crisp with a light dressing and adequate to share. I had the Sea bass and my friend had the salmon.Both were served sizzling and were perfectly prepared and delicious.We added Brussels sprouts and sweet potato casserole which we also shared . They were equally as delicious. Our service was also excellent. We would not hesitate to return,“

“what a wonderful little place! my partner & i were in town visiting for a week & out of every where we ate, this place REALLY stood out. the atmosphere is very cozy with “home cooked meal” vibes. they also serve drinks (hence the name) & on mondays they have a lasagna special which was soooo tasty. the staff is also very very sweet, they gave us amazing recommendations & remembered our faces by the second time we walked in. it felt very personal & warm. they have kind of an “open kitchen” concept which i think really adds to the ambiance. it feels like youre at a friends house for dinner & drinks. love love love!“

“I lived in New Orleans for years and had never been to this place. We were the only folks in there on a sweltering Thursday night in August and it was fantastic! They use a card system to track all your wine samples and there are tons of wines to try. All the wines are different price points and you can try them at different serving sizes. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. I loved it and our whole party had a great time.“

What an experience. Sydney was a true gem in hosting my cousins for our annual holiday gathering! We had amazing service, the food was incredible and such a great space to meet.we wouldn’t have enjoyed being here nearly as much without having Sydney here to make the best cocktails ever and have the best service presence. Oak & Ale is lucky to have someone like Sydney to represent private parties and bartend. I hope they give her a wonderful Christmas bonus for the service she provides to their customers. “We like Patrick’s Bar Vin, a nice laid back wine bar with a good mix of locals and tourists. The place is geared as a wine bar but they have a full service cocktail bar also, if you prefer. They do not regularly serve food here, as a service but do occasionally have parties where food may be present. A good place for conversation and fun.

“Lovely wine forward but beer and whiskey and gin and cider available in a full bar, few vegetarian options but my lady swears by the goose fat fried fries and Chinese five spice chicken wings, good wine selection and lovely atmosphere.

“We went visit Central Grocery in downtown and found out that they was closed. Someone informed us that we could pick up a muffaletta at the airport for Central Grocery. We made sure that we stop by before leaving to come back to Dallas Texas. The only thing is they don't sell the muffaletta whole. We had to purchase three quarters with a salad.“

“We hosted our wedding of roughly 60 guests at Barrilleaux's, and it was everything we could have hoped for and more. Our guests are still raving about all of the amazing food. It is a beautiful indoor setting, with plenty of tables for guests to mingle outside. At first, we were a bit worried that the space might be too small, but we had a six-piece band, and ice cream sundae bar, and still more than plenty of room to dance, for guests to hang out at their tables, and to walk around and mingle. We found out the day of the wedding that one of our guests was vegan. When we asked the chef if there were any vegan options on the buffet that we had planned, he went out of his way to make her an entire beautiful, custom vegan dinner. We thought this was absolutely above and beyond and we are so thankful to the chef! Brittani was wonderful to work with throughout the planning process, and Patsy was incredible on the day of. The team is super accommodating, friendly, and truly made it the best day ever.“

“Weird service from main waiter. It was our first time eating at Chophouse. My brother wanted steak and my friends recommended this place. When I asked the waiter what he recommended, he was pretty dry about the suggestions. Did not even bother to have a conversation. Honestly he barely came to the table. What made the evening weird was when he brought us the cheesecake. It was a plain cheesecake on a plate. It looked naked. It felt off because New York cheesecake usually comes with strawberries. As I scrolled through instagram, the cheesecake at chophouse did indeed come with strawberries and strawberry sauce. When the waiter came to give us the bill, I asked him about the strawberries. He looked a little shocked and said yeah it usually comes on the side you can have it with or without, but I was making sure your daughter gets her ice cream... I did not confront the waiter. He made it sound like he substituted the strawberries for the ice cream, but I paid for the ice cream. Was that laziness? Maybe Except for this, everything else went well. Food was delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection and bought to us on a hot plate. You can tell they use high quality ingredients. The runners and bussers did amazing job. Our table was often cleaned and set before the next meal.“
