“My mother, daughter, grandson and myself ate here for the first time Saturday for lunch. Our server, I believe his name is Bailey?, dark wavy hair, was very attentive and friendly and made excellent menu & off-menu suggestions. Our food was wonderful. My chicken parm was huge and cooked perfectly. We loved the decor and thoughtful entertainment options. We plan to return soon. Don’t miss this place. It is unique in this area. “My wife and I have visited Clawdaddy’s many times. Sunday was our 35th Marriage Anniversary so we had to visit again. The food is always delicious regardless of what you order. We had the boudin egg rolls as a starter and it seemed the platter was too small..lol. She had the fried fish plate. I had the blackened redfish over rice/crawfish etouffee like last time. Then ended the meal with a slice of cheese cake. This was our first time having a male Server. And Hayden Wisenor was a great server. Thanks Luke and employees.“

“I can’t say enough about Catfish Charlie’s. We lost our brother recently and his wish was for family to get together after memorial at Catfish Charlie’s. He loved this place. We all ate there last night and it was wonderful. They all went way beyond the normal to make sure we were all taken care of. The food was incredible. We can never thank y’all enough for making our Brother’s wish come true.“

“I love going to Catfish King mainly for the salad bar. When I say they have an amazing manager. Who wouldn't want to work with someone like him. They were short staffed he was seating people, checking people out, he even came over and took our order. This is a perfect example of lead by example. If you're ever in Monroe stop in enjoy the food and leave them a good tip. The staff is great and shows great team work.“

“We had a party of 20. We can be alot with our individual likes and needs, but our waitress, Tasha, did an AMAZING job. There weren't many people there when we got there due to the work the city is doing. Now we did make a reservation for 6 when I saw they were able to say people again, but about the time half of us got our food more people started coming in. Due to a large group that came in at 4:30, space was getting tight. No worries - they made room, found a table, and people were able to sit at the bar. Due to the work the city had been doing, they weren't heavily staffed. HOWEVER, Tasha handled it absolutely wonderfully. Will I go back? HECK YEA!!! EDITED TO ADD: Kitchen did a GREAT job, too!!!“

“My kids and my sister's kids have always loved this place. I've taken them since they were all small kids. It's gotten a bit pricey but it's fine. We love the food. Always hot and fresh. The service is always great. The people are nice and friendly. The atmosphere is very family friendly.“

“The food was excellent along with the atmosphere....the problem was the server...she placed the wrong order when it came to my mother and she got loud about it and then she stated that nachos weren't even on the menu and then when we showed her she left and never came back.“

“Went in search of salmon. Ended up ordering a chicken quesadilla. This was the absolute best quesadilla I've had in Monroe. I could actually pick it up without the meat falling out. Most importantly it was grilled with cheese. The only place I'll go to for quesadillas now.“

“Good food, good service. Never been unhappy here. I visit Monroe, LA monthly to attend meetings. I eat at Portico 6-8 times a year when in town. A special treat there is their chicken and sausage gumbo. Another special dish is their red beans and rice serving. They can handle large parties and they have an excellent bar. Prices are good, too.“
