“Great experience! As soon as we arrived, the hostess met us with a smile and friendly demeanor. The premises were vibrant with colors and traditional music on the background, while we enjoyed the flavors of the food. I ordered the “Mexican Po’boy with Carnitas” and it was exactly what I was expecting. The traditional “bolillo bread” was lightly toasted and the carnitas were cocked to perfection. We also ordered mini tacos with flour tortillas and steak, even when the meat was a little overcooked, the spicy salsa complemented them to perfection! They have delicious “agua frescas” and regular cocktails. I truly felt like I was back in Mexico. The food feels truly homemade and it brings great memories. I would definitely recommend it and will bring my family next time they visit!“

“Great authentic Mexican food restaurant inside of the City Point gas station. The woman working there is so sweet and makes the best food. This restaurant used to be open across the street at the Exxon years ago, but now they just reopened here. I remember how busy they were because of the amazing food. I used to go everyday back then. I love the atmosphere of the place. The music in the gas station is also very nice.“

“Where are all the recent FB reviews about your tamales and service. I only see 1 or 2 recent reviews about their tamales??!! All other reviews are several years old!! Were they hidden or deleted? I will leave one: I just bought a dozen tamales and the elderly man was not pleasant. He was rude. He threw my tamales in a plastic bag and when I grabbed it, it was so hot I almost dropped it. He literally put the tamales in a plastic bag and not in a cardboard or a paper plate. Just a loose bag. I will not be back. The tamales may be good, (but his attitude and service was very poor to say the least. The“

“Went to a bithday party there Sat. night and there ended up being 60 people in the group. We had 1 waiter Antonio that took all our orders, and everyones was correct. Then he had to do seperate tickets and everyone of the tickets were correct. We were in and out in 2 hours. Amazing job Antonio and the ones that kept rhe chips, salsa and drinks coming. “Went to the drive-thru around 8:15 p.m. andI must say, that crew was amazing. The young man, I believe Jaylin or something with a J, who took my order, was so pleasant with great customer service! My orders were right & our food was fresh. My daughter & I finally enjoyed our meal for once. ??“

“LaLa was our server is was polite, professional and courteous. The dining area was clean and Decorated in Mexican/Catholic Decor. We had breakfast. I order the steak and eggs. The food was good, not great..There was one table that was loud and every other word coming from that table was a profanity..made the whole meal uncomfortable.. management did not address the issue. Would not recommend this place. Breakfast was $62 for two people...“

“Their food is really good, however, service time is extremely slow. We normally order the fajitas 1 pound and if it came out, cut up thinner, it would be a lot more food for us to make us actual fajitas. They also don’t put much onions on the plate so the meat burns super fast. The price is extremely high. Double what you pay any other place for fajitas for two. For us to get fajitas queso and a burrito and two drinks it’s like $125-$130. So that’s a little steep. Also, they’re always out of drinks so half your meal you’re without anything to drink. The people there are super kind the manager is super kind however. Atmosphere is good. I like that you can see outside.“
