“If you are looking for a sweet, delightful treat, I would like to nominate Kim’s “Honey Apples”! I have been to Kim’s 3 days in a row this week, including yesterday! I’m not sure how Kim’s does it, but I pray that they don’t ever stop doing it! Kim’s “Honey Apples” are one of the best things that has ever happened to my mind, body, soul and mouth, all at the time! I have been eating Kim’s “Honey Apples” since I was a little girl and since they were in their 1st location that was just a little further down from where they are located now! I’m 37 years old now! Even after living in Houston, Texas from 2008-2022, there is nothing that compares to Kim’s “Honey Apples”! The “Honey Apples” are served hot, sweet and crunchy on the outside and has a fresh, I do believe green apple slice on the inside! I’m not sure how Kim’s does it but they could be Fried “Honey Apples”! One order of Hot “Honey Apples” comes with 8 apples slices for under $5.00! I still can not believe that a restaurant can make apples taste so heavenly, for such an outstanding value! Thank you Kim’s Chinese Restaurant! I give your “Honey Apples” 15 out of 10 stars! “Buffet is always stocked with fresh food and with a very large selection to pick from even picky eaters can find something they will love.
I tend to do take out, and with the pay by the pound you can't go wrong, I usually spend around 30 dollars for 3 to 4 to go plate boxes and can easily get 3 to 4 meals from them. Quality of food and price is what keeps this place in business as well as the friendly staff and clean environment.

“I live and work just down the street. I usually walk over there to get one of the $6 daily specials which usually has a main dish like a fish burger and a side (fries or rice). The inside is clean and simple with a few eating booths with usually some free to sit for eating or waiting for your order. I usually never order ahead and never had to wait more than 5 minutes to get my food. My favorites are the Fish burgers and Cheese Burger Combo. Their gumbo is worth a try too. I'm glad we have this as a local joint in the neighborhood.“

“First of all, the service was excellent and the staff were very welcoming. Both of us are allergic to certain things, so check if their food contained any allergens that I wasn't allergic to. They patiently explained to me what ingredients were in the dishes I chose, so they were really considerate and provided very healthy food.“
