“Arrived at our hotel and started looking for nearby restaurants. After reviewing a good number of options and checking out the menu and prices at various places, opted for this restaurant. Nothing short of outstanding from a food perspective. They offer a combination platter for $10.25 which included pork fried rice and a roast pork egg roll AND 48 choices of chicken, pork, beef, or shrimp items. And, there are dozens of other menu options besides the combination platter. Food was very tasty (beef & broccoli for me; sweet and sour shrimp for my lady friend). This is a small, casual place; nothing fancy and located in a strip mall with several other options. We would definitely eat here again if we return to this area. \n\nAs a side note, while we were eating at the restaurant, there were at least 15 people who popped in to pick up a take out order. \n\nA worthy place for palate, tummy and budget.“

“Ordered takeout on a weekday for dinner. I ordered online. It was pretty simple. It was a typical 20 minute wait. The order was ready when I got there. The lady who helped me was very friendly. We have ordered takeout from here for a few years. It is consistently very good. We have never dined in the restaurant. I think the vast majority of their business is takeout. Give them a shot.“

“China Town is the only place I go to for my vegetable fried rice. Let me tell you… they have THE BEST garlic sauce in town! When I began ordering from China Town, I had EVERYONE in my office ordering my exact order. We eat there at least 2 times a week. Service is swift. Food is great. They are kind. Unlike other restaurants that use third party drivers(who smoke in their cars) China Wok uses their own employees. They had everything I wanted, including the rare sweet and sour pork!! And.. look! “I placed a pick up order and I ended up running behind and was not going to be getting there until after they had technically closed. The worker was very understanding and accommodating and allowed me to pick up my order even though they were officially closed. Seems like a small thing, but making an exception that makes the customer experience good even when he had no obligation to do so is very rare these days. Very good customer service and good food“

“We like this place, easily in the top 3 of all Chinese food in Baton Rouge. We like the hot and spicy chicken (very spicy) Kung Pao chicken and Mongolian Beef (also spicy). Everything was a bit on the spicier side than expected but we love spicy here! so no complaint from me but just as a guide for others. I personally love it that a place actually makes the dishes that are supposed to be spicy actually spicy! At most other places even the dishes that are supposed to be spicy have zero heat to them, so I applaud this place!

The Beef and Broccoli is also great. Egg rolls and Crab Rangoon very good. Only thing we don't like is the teriyaki chicken it comes on a stick and was over cooked, it pretty tough but the crispy outside was nice and flavor good and the fried rice isnt the best I have ever had but most dishes have a sauce on the meat part and mixes well with the rice to make the rice so good! Staff are always very friendly and helpful, we will keep going here.“

“Ordered to go, and everything was delicious. We had a crew so quite a big order of beef and broccoli, general tso chicken, kung pao chicken, vegetable mei fun, spare ribs, wonton soup, crab rangoons, chicken fried rice, and egg rolls. Everyone enjoyed their food. I had the kung pao chicken and vegetable mei fun which were both very flavorful. I usually need to add soy sauce to mei fun, but not this one. The rangoons had the imitation crab meat in them, not just cream cheese. Definitely going to be my go to take out spot from now on.“

“We have been going to hot wok for over 10 years. My son and daughter in law visit from Virginia and always have to get a to go plate when they visit. The variety of dishes works well for my husband and I. I prefer to not eat so much fried food and he would definitely prefer everything fried. I would definitely recommend them when craving your Chinese food fix.“

“I used a third party service delivery to the home for an order of snow crabs potatoes and corn. Omg the cajun mild flavor was amazing. It was delicious. Forgive the picture I was so hungry I took a picture midway. Next time I will dine in. Thank you for the delicious crabs. You all can bottle up the sauce and sell it. Yum!!!“

“I had the honey chicken wings with vegetable lo mien, I would say it was good and fresh. The wings were a little on the sweet side but not too bad. The noodles were delicious. I would definitely order again. The fried dumplings were probably a 4 out of 10. They were really greasy and kind of pricey. I also had a Lemonade , it was delicious however just a tad bit on the sweet side. The service was quick but they are kind of unfriendly over the phone, and not too friendly in person either. The atmosphere was ok but looks like it would be better to take your food to go. Overall I would rate this place 8/10 ❤“
