Reviews for Cornet

We were very impressed with the bloody Mary and blueberry infused drinks. The hurricane wasn't too bad but the other two were better in our opinion. We also had the shrimp jubilee which was delish!! Great experience. If we were from the area I'm pretty sure it would become a regular for us!

Spent $100, got 4 drinks with no detectable alcohol content, 1 small plate of gator nuggets (that was the best part), and a bowl of chicken jambalaya right out the microwave and cold. The people working there were very friendly, but good service alone does not outweigh low quality food/drink at moderate to high prices. Check out Acme oyster house instead, just a short walk away. Acme has the most tender gator and amazing po-boys (especially for their reasonable prices.)

Don't let appearances fool you. This place LOOKS incredible, but we will not be returning. Drinks were very weak, and the jambalaya was probably the worst I've ever had. It came to me as a colorless scoop of mushy rice that resembled cat food. When I took my first reluctant bite it was barely room temp and I had to send it back to get nuked. Waitress talked politics, loudly, with some other patrons non-stop until we left. Incredibly unprofessional and disappointing.
