Brilliant business model. We were drawn in by the sign out front claiming we could learn to roast coffee in 10 minutes. They have fresh, green beans from all over and washed in a multitude of methods that you can choose from. Once you pick your beans, you use a countertop roasting device to roast them to your preferred level. Rhea and Josh were so attentive and friendly, and the shop dogs Fletcher and Tucker were affectionate. Highly recommend.
We took the coffee cupping class which is a class that explains coffee and various varieties and types. This was a fascinating class and this shop is not like any I have been to. You purchase unroasted coffee and can roast at home or right in the shop. I am not a coffee drinker and I found this shop and class absolutely fascinating. The rest of my group are coffee drinkers and also learned a lot more about coffee. I’m sure my explanations are not doing justice to this shop...read full review
